This thread is quite amazing. I was filled with utmost disgust and contempt at The Edge's comments and saddened that so many thought it cool to empathize with him. But I was delighted at the wisdom of Pook's response; truly, of all the guys on this forum, he it is I admire the most and aspire to emulate the most. This showed me the difference between a man proud of his advances in Don Juanhood and a man with almost total mastery of Don Juanhood. I have noticed this before. Someone was recently criticised on this forum for submitting a post somewhat similar to an earlier effort by Pook on the subject, I believe, of ********. The arraignment was that his was a poor imitation of Pook's; but Pook's response was not to mock or stomp all over the guy; rather, he was GENTLEMANLY in how he treated the whole issue. I perceived at once that Pook was actually an honourable man of manners and discretion, in mastery of his impulses and unafraid to defend the causes of those less advanced in Don Juanhood.
So for me, the Master Don Juan is the complete MAN, and a vital part of such completion is that he is not unwilling to condescend, in the most unpatronizing manner, to aid those less able than himself. The guy who is so taken by his progress as to be bored with the petty trifling questions of novices, he has not yet obtained total mastery over his own spirit. Strive to be happy, as Pook says elsewhere, and enjoy being pleasant to every person (for it is a pleasure to BE pleasant to others), and this will help your own cause, increasing your own confidence and drawing the cream of the female gender toward you. Just show unfeigned charity for the love it and you will receive it in return.
In closing, I am glad The Edge was man enough to concede wise Pook made an excellent point, as that requires a considerable measure of humility and therefore demonstrates a high level of manliness and maturity on the road to Don Juanhood, so The Edge has undone some of his earlier harm. And Pook, let not the lofty estimation others entertain of you in any wise inflate pride in you; just know that you are a prince among Don Juans for the reasons that you give such little place to arrogant self-aggrandisement and you treat all people with courtesy and affable equity.

I'm here because I think that it's kinda cute( I mean that honestly-not to be condesending) that there's a bunch of fellas out there who are trying to figure out women on their own without actually
asking a woman what her take on things are. I have put my two cents in on some posts and been completely ignored. Oh well, i'll still sleep at night. If you chose to try and understand women through the experiences of other men without at least taking on board what a girl has to say, then you're barking up the wrong tree.

This is what I've been sayin'... in the top University crowds, and even mid table University crowds to some extent, the girls don't need a guy to support them and do whatever else, because these are gonna be fully qualified doctors, lawyers etc etc. in a few years earning like you said in the first point...
