Psst: guys!
Gio and DreamyChick are actually the same little fat bald guy.

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?
Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.
One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.
Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
Oh please. Lame people across the globe say "hella". Even here in NY.Originally posted by MVPlaya
Dreamy Chick aka Gio,
You're from Georgia yet you say "hella" (in your sig), I thought only us Californians, Northern Californians for that matter, said that.
Cause I like it, and I want to live in California. Well maybe and/or Michigan.Originally posted by MVPlaya

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
I assure you Gio is a real person and I am a real person and he can vouch for that.Originally posted by crazykid

I just really like his lyrics, they're catchy and they make me think. One day I pulled up a site that had some stuff from his concert and I was very shocked. He had completely changed the words around and was singing about penis and balls or something like that. My innocent view of him definitely went out the window, but I still dig his style. Oh well.Originally posted by ( . )( . )

mind you i was watching that john mayor when he came over here to tour or something and i must say the chicks do go gooey over him, makes me wonder if he uses his perks gene simmons style.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Isn't it though? Yeah he and I had a love-hate thing going there for awhile, but he's won me over.Originally posted by iqqi

Hey you spineless bag of waste, in your haste to prove your command of the English language, you forget one thing.
Edge doesn't give a flying phukk what you think of him... So don't waste your time baiting. I know I won't ....

More like, how sad!Internet love... how romantic!
You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.
Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.
Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.
Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.
