"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Shyness good?

I was reading TonytheTiger's thread (1-1000) and he says he was talking to someone who was shy and told him it might be good to approach women and say you are shy and blush. Is this true? It seems like it is contrary to being confident. Can you use shyness to your advantage, or is it something that you must always get over?

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

the thing is...if you approach and girl and tell her that your shy, then REALLY, you're not that shy. It works cause your teasing and giving her mized messages. But if you're shy, don't worry too much about it. The important thing is not to turn into some extroverted sonnavb*tch, but to get rid of your fears of social situations.

it might work

cuz ur creating a paradox

"how can u be shy if ur talking to me and asking me out?"

u are confusing the chick

i dunno the results of that

someone with FR about this can relate to that?

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I think your actions will speak louder then your words. In which case she will think you aren't shy.

I wouldn't try it because it isn't something a man would say and could encourage her attempts at controlling you.

I think the shy comment is being used as a buffer so she isn't as harsh at rejecting you.

just be a man she'll find that more attractive.

What's the punch line?

I'm shy... so will you get undressed first?

I'm shy... so you'd better kiss me quick before I run away!

I'm shy... but I've got a big ****!

(Wait for the patronising "Awww", timing and delivery is everything on these!)

Shy can work for you very well. Shy often works on very confident agressive girls.

The same way confidence works on insecure girls.

As people we look for someone to compliment and supplement us, and sometimes that calls for someone who is the opposite of us, and sometimes that is to find someone who is just like us.

See, you have to be able to size up a girl, if she is in a good mood, use that play on that. If she is in a bad mood, use that to your advantage.

I know I keep repeating myself, but a good DJ can size up a girl and her situaton in about 10 seconds and develop an approch and tactic that works. There is no one method.

****y funny will work on girls in a good mood, but pull that **** on a chick in a bad mood and you will be going home alone and branded an *******.
