So this girl I've been talking to on and off has been giving me mixed signals. Like she knows I like her (because I asked her out last week) but then she gave this excuse that her and a ex had a bad time, and then I asked for her sc and she said sure she would give it to me. But today I was just standing next to a rail ( this is high school) and she just oddly looked at me and walked passed me. I've decided myself not to talk to her but I'm thinking maybe I'm irrational. When we talk she usually laughs at my jokes, but I know jokes don't mean ****. What should I do?

Start acting distant a bit, start hitting on other girls instead and see how she reacts but don't waste your time and effort any more on her if you've already 1. pitched a date and 2. got her sc and now she's playing games

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
