"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

hi I'm new to the community so my first post is about what i've learned so far...there are 'gurus'. Are any of them right? They all say different things, David DeAngelo, Mystery, RSD, that Thundercat lair guy, that Seb Parr/sebparr.com guy from New Zealand or whatever...are ANY worth listening to? or is it a all a crock of s&^#? I tend to think they would say anything to make money and there isn't as much talk about them on sosuave than other sites...

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

I'm with you there. Their primary objective is to make money and to make money they exploiting guys' insecurities and gullibility.

Personally I learn from REAL LIFE or REAL PEOPLE. If I need help, I look to someone who is successful and observe them or ask for advice.

Dude,

Some people idolise these gurus, which is wrong. The trick is to take out what works for you from each one's material and move on.

A lot of these guys lost their credibility when they started charging money for advice.

Yes and no, according to my humble opinion.

Yes, the trick is to take out what works for you from each material and move on. Personally, I love DDangelo, but there are some things like "stimulating conversation" that I only used once . And others, I simply didn't take anything, doesn't go with me.

And, no, I don't believe they lose credibility. It's like, you're great at soccer, well, why not charge some money in teaching soccer, that way you make money doing what you love.

It's better than strip clubs. There's nothing wrong with a guy making a buck. The bad thing is when guys buy the stuff, read it, try it once, fail, and then denounce everything after giving up. What's worse is when they put all the blame on the 'gurus' for taking advantage of them.

I don't know if these guys think that just because they failed, everyone else who used the same information failed. It's all about accountability, or the lack of.

There's not magic pill or silver bullet. Some things work for some and not for others. Guys should consider actually trying some of the theories on their own and find what works for them.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Anybody who tries to make money is in business and in business.. morals don't apply guys. You forget to realize just because you were taught something wrong doesn't mean everybody else has that in the concience or even care they are doing something you concider wrong.

Business is business. If they CAN take advantage they WILL.

That means the second a price is put on it they will strecth the truth, and suddenly put less focus on looks etc.

Anybody else think it's funny that material for guys who SUCK WITH GIRLS will ALWAYS say looks don't matter as much as SKILL.

SEE THE CONNECTION THERE? lol.. The guys sucked cuz they were ugly so they buy something to tell them ugliness doesn't matter that much. That's taking advantage of an insecurity there and means the difference between basically their ENTIRE market. They will make MILLIONS more money just from saying SKILL matter as much as they say.. do you realize they can't even mention the alternative as they won't make a fvcking penny? WAY TO MUCH of a conincidence.

It's all business, and you guys may think your intellegent by trying to be C&F (as if you actually are in real life) mentally attractive and so on, but sex is sex.. it's physical.. it's not intellegent.. and you guys are being taken for a ride. (obviously showing your not as smart as you wish you were.. (all ugly guys wish they were smart). lol

Their stuff is of different value to different people. A few (Mystery comes to mind) are "naturals" with looks who just use their own success to sucker people out of their money. Based on what I've read on the home page and what I've read myself, Swinggcat and Dating Insider (which I think now is called Seduction Insider, not a "guru," per se) are most on-point. I mention Dating Insider because of its emphasis on developing charisma and presence, which are key factors all too often overlooked. Deangelo gets into this a bit, but buries it under too much "****y and funny," which flops for a lot of people.

My thoughts? Some of them should be shot. Others not.

I don't know Bonhomme a lot of guys I see try to be all charismatic and stuff get the girls laughing but are always thought of as a joke.. no problem getting friends.. but I mean if they weren't hot.. then they are always thought as a joke.

Which kind of is playing off these guys insecurities (they think.. "if I just act all charismatic everbody won't notice I'm fat or short, or ugly, or poor, or just plain average, THIS GURU TOLD ME SO after I payed him of course.")

Trying to be charismatic? Looks like you need to read Dating Insider, Bvbidd (chuckling).

What you're describing is 180 degrees away from what charisma really is. it's more about a sort of effortless poise. An air of being on top of the scene without having to try. All I know is, when I read Dating Insider, I instantly thought: "A-ha! So that's what's happening when I'm "on."

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Hey, I know what your talking about. I'm just saying I've seen ugly guys with this mindset go for girls and fail because the girl liked a better looking guy who wasn't in any mindset at all.

Uh.. I don't think we are agreeing on what charisma is then. Charisma in my opinion is friendly talkative guys.. the mindset your talking about isn't very friendly.. sounds like arrogance.

(chuckling) < lol wtf was that? You don't really talk the way you type infront of chicks do you?

If charisma isn't a part of their authentic character it's never going to work. The same thing with any of the available theories. It's like watching a bad movie, yeah the dialog may suck but if the actors suck it really shows.

Mystery may not be natural but he understands human behavior. That's the key to his success.

Arrogance will get you laid more than negativity. Women do not equate charismatic with friendly and talkative, often the opposite.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

In my opinion alot of them do deserve the rack!

They only feed you bits and pieces of good information but the rest is fluff talk garbage. Your paying a whole lot of money on a few Gold Nuggets of useful information.
I gone through mainly David deAngelo & Ross Jeffrie materials. (paid alot for them too).

This looks like one of the topics from the SoSuave Golden age discussion board.

We would always argue about who was right and who was wrong. A poster would ask a question and 5 or 6 PUA's would answer almost giving different answers to the same question. For example...If you ask any one of a number of pick-up guru's "How long should you wait to call after number closing?" You will get different responses. In fact one guru always calls the next day. That works for him. Three days is good for most but some pick up guru's will advise you to wait 4 or 5 days.

Guru's differ on technique all of the time. We just give the advice. It's up to you guys to decide what works best for you.

So true, but this knowledge only came to him after years of field testing.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
