You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
Believe it or not, women aren't THAT hard to understand. Let me know what you think of D.D.'s ebooks, there are a few others authors who you could learn allot from.chandidas said:thanks!!!
i think i gave up on trying to 'understand' women! lol
Maybe unnecessary by your definition but what makes you think that she would change if she was always this way? You saw it, you chose accept it. The question now is whether or not either of you are willing to be reasonable.******* said:always...but before it was reasonable. Now, after so many months it's just unnesesary.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
How the ****' does meeting her parents makes me think im a pimp??? If i though it was "ight" then why would i make a post about it??? You sound like an idiot. But anyways......Hitman10000 said:Seems like you've already voiced out your opinion about how she's having conversations and she still is being secretive.
It's not going to get any better.
You rationalize because you've met her parents, you think you're pimp and it's "aight". I don't think so. When someone is comfortable/trustful/anonymous with another person, they tell it all. Dunno about you, but I wouldn't want to be in a relationship where I didn't feel comfortable with someone else who wasn't that comfortable with me.
If you've already "genuinely" offered to be her soft place to fall, the only other thing you can do is to be patient. As long as she isn't impeding on your livelihood you shouldn't have a problem.******* said:...

I told her something along those lines. she already knows how i feel and said she agrees that she should be able to tell me anything and will try. Don't know how much time to give her.
