Scoop of whey = how much?

Everyones advice on whey is measured by scoops. Two scoops PWO drink.

WTF is a scoop? Teaspoon, tablespoon, cup? I thought the magical scoop thingy would be in the whey, but it wasn't.

Anyone lend me a hand here?

if you have a good quality whey it should be in there somewhere..just use a spoon to dig down till you find it, usually they are buried.

I once lost my scoop , asked the same question and recieved like 5 different ammounts... there should be one in there somewhere anyways... if not ill check tonight if no one else already knows

Should say next to the nutritional facts. I also save my scoops because when I got a 5 lber, I couldn't find my scoop.

I found my scoop. It was buried half way down.

This ON chocolate flavered whey is pretty damm tasty. Threw in two scoops and chugged er down. Wouldn't mind another if I say so myself, however, wouldn't that be way to much protein. Wouldn't want to kill my kidneys/liver.

I just truly started my diet today. I had one two scoop shake PWO.

I think I need one sometime in the morning. Not sure yet.

Actually, the main problem with having too much protein in one meal is that most people's bodies have difficulty digesting more than 30g of protein at once. That's why it's best to split your protein intake evenly over 5-6 meals per day: any more than ~35g of protein at one time is just going to waste.

Anyway, it should say on the container how much X number of scoops weighs, and also tell you how much protein there is in said number of scoops. All you have to do is make a ratio of grams of protein to total weight, and then just measure out whatever mass of whey powder you need to get the desired amount of protein. :rockon:

Actually I bought this huge 12lb bucket and it only has like 60 serves each serve is like a cupful ( the scooper is the size of my fist ) , I think it depends on the brand you buy.

It's about the same amount of a heaping tablespoon.
