"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

I don't see why finding me on Emo-Space is such a big deal, all you had to do was ask IQQI, he/she was the first one to look me up (Well, to be fair, WYLDFIRE did too), it's her favorite pastime on NLG - OK, besides talking about herself, her last hangover, and avoiding to post any pictures of herself ever. :D

Also, DEEPDISH and STR8UP know where to find pics from the last 2 years of martini fest,.. :nervous:

I keep a myspace page to have a presence, nothing more. Not really concerned with anything beyond the functional. I suppose I should update it,..hmm.

"Am I the only one who thinks Rollo looks like Brett Favre?"

He looks EXACTLY like him. :nervous:

Anyone that is not a huge football fan that is interested go look up Brett's picture and then watch that video of Rollo playing a guitar without his hat and sunglasses on and you really won't be able to tell the difference.

The resemblance is to the point I'm starting to think we've been getting psychology, life and love tips from a professional NFL player all this time.

A few months ago I was amongst a birthday party entourage at a cheesy nightclub at Universal's City Walk, when I bumped into this guy who I confused for Rollo. I was like, "Hey Rollo, what up!" I was shocked - shocked - it wasn't him. The resemblance was uncanny and it turns out the guy's name was remarkably similiar (Greg instead of George)(but we know George is only your stage name). So, Mr. Tomassi, I met your doppelganger, although you can never meet him because that would cancel you out.

(And no, guys, I'm not on Rollo's myspace.)

You know, I occasionally get Mark Wahlberg-ed too,..

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I didn't know the legendary Green Bay Packers quarterback was also the most insightful SS poster.
