Does this make u any more desirable when talking to girls?

Does anyone have any experience of it making it easier to strike up conversation because their guard will be down?

Personally I think that's really sleazy, because think about it:

The girl you're talking to will think you're dating some other girl and talking to her at the same time, if you do somehow start dating, will she trust you as much?

What does that mean, taking your pictures off? What happens when you're tagged by a friend - it just never comes up on your profile or something?

The only benefit it has is I seem to get less spam if I put it to "in a relationship" rather than "single."

To be honest I don't really believe in tricks like that to attract people, but then again I've never bothered with meeting girls over the internet so maybe I'm not the best person to comment.
