Rejected Before She Even Got to Know Me

Got rejected just because my sign is Taurus.

Apparently, being stubborn, liking my comfort, and taking my sweet time making decisions was enough to disqualify me.

Honestly, I can’t even be too mad about it. If someone is going to judge me based on my zodiac sign before actually getting to know me, maybe I saved myself some trouble anyway.

Anyone else ever been judged or rejected because of their sign?

If a woman places any value whatsoever in astrology you should head in the opposite direction. When dating I was amazed how many profiles excluded certain people based on their zodiac sign and, even after meeting, a surprising number of women would look me dead in the eyes and talk about their (or my) sign as if it were an actual scientific thing that has real predictive value, which it does not.

So avoid weird ass women who think they can predict the future based on someone's birthday because thats bat shart crazy and you're better off not entangling yourself with them.

Yes I have been judged, never rejected. I used zodiac signs as a discussion topic for online dating. It was a good spring board for getting to know each other. A lot of women like talking about it.

There are a few girls that would probably reject you based on a bad past experience with a certain zodiac sign, however most will reject you based on their interest level not being there. It's the safer excuse to use.

Have dated a couple of chicks who placed some value on zodiac signs. Needless to say they were an extra level of crazy.

That said, it is probably a safer bet that the zodiac sign was a super convenient way of telling you just wasn't interested in you in general. When you cold approach you need a thick skin. Women come up with all sorts of excuses or tricks to avoid having to actually downright say "I am not interested in you." They tend to not be confrontational and attempt to make soft rejections. This is a perfect example.

Piggybacking off of @The Duke . Op, I’m not a zodiac expert but I know enough to continue a conversation with a woman. This is like sports to them to the point I haven’t met a single woman that didn’t have an interest point in zodiac. For the future, it doesn’t hurt to actually learn it instead of dismissing it as filth because it’s one of the biggest ice breakers with women. Also, I’m an Aries so literally most women are disgusted by my sign but I’m still able to fvck them hehe

You dodged a bullet. But let me pick apart your mindset based on your original post alone.

You can be exactly what she thinks she doesn't want, but if you push her buttons correctly, you can bring that ***** home. Rejected because of [insert anything] just means you weren't attractive enough to her and/or not in the right frame. Also, trying to get a girl to get to know you is usually a bad strategy. The moment you try to open up, you will make her ***** dry. You can't take a woman to bed by reasoning with her or by trying to make her see things logically.

Knowing women love astrology, with some of the younger ones I've dated, I've used astrology as a way to game them a bit:

ME: So what's your sign?
HER: Virgo
ME: (big sigh and shake my head) Damn, and I thought this was kind of going well too.
HER: What do you mean?
ME: Well, Virgos are known to be (fill in with some funny s*it) and most criminals are Virgos too.
HER: I'm not like that!
ME: Let's hope not. Now you know why I have Dobermans at home. Look at the women I date...
HER: Well what's your sign then?
ME: I'm a Leo. It's the best sign, really, because we're ruled by the sun. So basically, everything revolves around us, as it should (sly grin). Alight Virgo girl, let's hit another spot before the cops get here. Someone probably tipped them off.
