"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Soo i've been talking to this one girl for sometime now.. shes a couple years younger and shes a very proper girl. I can just tell.. She does not smoke nor drink or a big partyer. Her friends have all told me she likes me and talks about me. yet when I've finaly made plans with her for several weekends she ends up just breaking them off.. or i dont even hear from her that day or night at all.. I don't get it?? Then i saw her at a smallish party the other night and i tried talking and bein with her for a little bit but she seemed realllly shy and barely spoke to me and stayed upstairs, away from the party most the night...

Her friends say she is reallly shy as well and hasnt had much 'guy' experience.. they also say she thinks i dont wanna hang out with her??? yet everytime i tell her were hanging out she agrees.. then she goes ****ing MIA... im kinda liking this girl alot and need some way to get to her.. any help would be great :)

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Next time you see her out, at a group thing or something, start talking to her, and go in for a hug or kiss.

What is so great about this girl? She is shy, avoids social settings, is anti-social, proper, probally a virging, and has dissed you 5-6 times. If roles were reveresed and you kept dissing her she wouldnt call you ever again,

Typical. Maybe she's more experienced than she's letting on. If she keeps u wanting, running after her, then soon she has the upper hand. (psychologically)
She talks to u, talk about u with her friends but she bails out on the one on one dates. See the pattern ?

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
