Thanks Atom Smasher. As mentioned in my initial posting, I recognize that this isn't my forum and I am under no entitlement to any explanation.

When I notice a new forum member, I attempt to make them feel welcomed .. even going as far as to counter-attack older smug-appearing members that do their "chest thumping" (toward a new member) . This being a new member's first experience, I want them to feel welcomed and to return.

Again, I realize that this isn't my forum. With this being expressed, it is my hope that all mods reading this will practice the same scrutiny toward the chest-thumpers pouncing on new members... as they have toward the old-timers engaging in political discussion.

I’ve been calling out old and mid-timers for years for treating new members harshly. They usually back off when I do, but it is troubling that the phenomenon exists. There definitely comes a time for some “tough love” when a noob proves he’s just here to waste everybody’s time, but every new guy should be extended a welcoming hand when he arrives and as he struggles to get his head on straight.

Lol, ask that in the general forum. Anyway, a lot of guys want "loyal companionship", but don't think they can get it from today's women in today's world, so they default to spinning plates. And that doesn't include the guys who just want multiple sexual partners in the first place.
