Right now it's August 7th and I've checked my 'match.com' inbox (without subscription yet) to find two emails. The people from lookbetteronline said if I dont get 15 hits I get my money back. I've had four hits on my profile since it was put up on Thursday/Friday, August 2/3rd so far and two emails.
Definately not a very popular profile, but I'm keeping my end of the bargain by keeping it up there (it's free anyway) for about a week to see if I get 15 hits/emails, failing which, I can ask for a partial refund. This is the verbal agreement with lookbetteronline.
So far, I'm 11 hits, and 13 emails behind.....but if I do get the amount of hits they minimally guaranteed I'd get, then I wont be claiming any refund.
My guestimation is still my body shape sucks, and pics either have to convey muscles and strength and look studly, or they have to convey warmth or that sort of homely feeling when they are viewed to the reader. It's sort of a system that I think is doomed to fail with me but I'm obligated to give this the benefit of the doubt ensure this experiment gets a fair hearing.
I was looking for 'muscleman's posts, I thought he posted something about an online experiment he did putting up pics after he was ripped and has met a tonne of women and has got lots of attention being online.....maybe someone else posted it but I cant seem to find it on here. It would confirm the beliefs that one has to work on some core non-negotiable properties as no repackaging in the world is going to fix that - thus an investment with a personal trainer and gym program where you have a good frame and ripped muscles you are proud to display will likely go allot further than going with 'lookbetteronline'.
I'm going to get my muscles in shape later and become ripped - that's going to be part of a new agenda later on. Once I have a body transformation, I'm going to take photographs without a shirt and different poses on showing my new ripped body - even if it takes a year to get there - and see what difference of response that I get. I've read testimonies of lots of people here and in another board where they sucked with women, but when they improved their body, they got more attention. I've overlooked the most OBVIOUS concept of improvement and that's investing in my own physical body to build muscles - I've long overestimated my handsome face and eyes - but without a body to back it up - it doesn't cut the mustard. Went out today with my mom downtown to give out some tracts, so my mom was my wing-lady. While walking downtown I noticed some girls were actually looking at me. I went to the cinema today to watch "Pirates of the Caribbean", and didn't have a date to go along with me (either my mom doesn't like them, or they dont really like me). So, I went, enjoyed the movie and a single girl comes in and sits a few seats next of me. I was totally unprepared. No pen, cell phone, business cards, nadda, and we stayed right until the last credits finished. At the end I did try to convo by talking about the movie and smiled before parting ways - but I cant help but feel I lost out by not pursuing a number / @-mail close -- I could have said "do you come out here allot? Well, date with mortage broker yesterday went alright - no major crash and burns on it - but as usual no action other than a handshake at the end.
The prior gf I was writing about seems to have left a few messages which either my cell phone wasn't working or something, but I am attempting to contact her back.
It seems, unless a girl initiates anything in an obvious and seductive way, nothing's going to happen. I tend to talk to my mom too much about my personal life and tend to have her life a close friend, and I think I'm unnecessarily crippling my game.
Perhaps Epsi is right - what I'm doing is having a 'sex-fantasy thought life' that's totally contrary to my asexual reality and that creates lots of friction. It seems, unless a girl initiates anything in an obvious and seductive way, nothing's going to happen. I tend to talk to my mom too much about my personal life and tend to have her life a close friend, and I think I'm unnecessarily crippling my game.
Perhaps Epsi is right - what I'm doing is having a 'sex-fantasy thought life' that's totally contrary to my asexual reality and that creates lots of friction. Every girl that's in my life turns into some sort of mirage in a desert with this pattern I have....dont know what to do about it and if approaching girls is an answer to breaking such patterns if I can even escalate with women I'm seeing for lunch or dating.
Anyway - at least I've successfully stopped looking at porn since April 10th or something and masturbation is extremely infrequent as a result of my policies. I've felt more 'horney' so, maybe the more horney I feel I may just be taking some more types of risks - but even that doesn't seem to be working.
