I can't find the page but I remember the blogger on this site http://marriedmansexlife.com/blog/ likening porn to beta conditioning. Another man is fvcking that hot chick while you're jacking off. Porn is toxic pleasure. It's insidious because it is 1) so commonplace and easily accessible, 2) very pleasurable and addicting, and 3) you don't "see" the damage it is doing until it is already done.

I've been watching porn since I was about 14 off and on, and those pathways are so engraved into my brain that the only way I can reliably abstain is to set written goals for myself (30 day, 90 days, etc). It's easy once I'm past the first week, and I feel so much healthier mentally. I don't obsess about it, I don't need to jack off very often, and I naturally just think about sex with my girlfriend when I'm horny. Sex itself is much more pleasurable as well when you are totally focused on that REAL woman in front of you.

I realized that after getting sex regularly with girls, the desire to watch porn sensibly decrease to almost none and even when you happen to watch it, you somehow dont relate as before, in terms of desire to fap or arousal.
It seems like the brain has two different circuits and the one about porn is more related to pleasure seeking than sexual release and libido.

You shouldn't look at porn because you are horny or anything like that. It is wrong and you know it is wrong in the back of your head but you do it anyway. That is why it is toxic.
My foreign wife has never seen a porno in her life. If she found I was hiding porn on the computer she would leave me. One of her hot friends was in a LTR and she caught him with porn, and she left him forever. LATINA's don't mess around.
We do plan to go to the porn store together and get a movie for fun but we have not gotten around to it. I am not that excited to get her to watch porn.
