I started doing dips a few weeks ago, but whenever I do them I get a kind of sharp pain in the middle of my chest, and sometimes it lasts for days. Is this normal? Just regular soreness from working out, or should that not be there? It's hard to tell.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Doesnt exactly sound normal.

Do make sure you warm up thoroughly before doing dips, and I wouldnt go lower then your upper arms being parallel to the floor. Any lower & you're pretty much asking for an injury. Id be more worried about your shoulders, then your chest though.

Best of luck.

Don't do it.

I had them, supposedly something to do with adolescents.
Persevere like I did (don't get pain now) and you'll **** up your ribs. As I've done.

What exactly did you do? I've never really heard of anyone jacking up their ribs from doing dips?

Personally, ive never had a problem with them. So long as you know when to stop your decent (upper arms parallel to the ground) you should be fine.

I might be going down a little too low. I'll be conscious of that next time...

Hmm, I've had this exact experience. It was quite painful, to the point that I stopped doing dips, but even after that it lasted for quite a while. Maybe it does have something to do with adolescence because I was 18 at the time. I was warmed up pretty well at the time too, so I really don't know what was going on there as I don't go below parallel.
