"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

Good observations Mr. Me. The wording is definitely framed to demean men in a general fashion.

On related note, if you check out her site, it seems she had a "troubled" relationship with her father, so little doubt on the freudian projection towards men....

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Oh f@ck! Did I write "those little birds"? Oh, darn... I'm showing my deep resentment harboring on narcissism bordering on emotional disorder, with a pinch of misogyny and a trace of anger.
Ha ha ha ha ! Brilliant quip.

Anyone notice this - as women have become more financially independent and more assertive , their need to blame men and shift reasonsibilty for their failings has NOT diminished . You would think that their new found power would bring with it a corresponding increase in their willingness to shoulder the accountability for their own life journey and the pitfalls along it.
It appears that their newfound "liberation" from the alleged domination of men has not changed their insatiable desire to play the victim. If fact now they have OPRAH to speak for them ( of feed into this desire)
She is merely providing a service to a hungry market. The need is for women to play "victim" and men to assume the role of "perpetrator". Victims are innocent and blameless, perps are evil and scheming and dark, evil rats.
OPRAH found a need in half the population and is filling that need .
Free enterprise in its pure form ,or the mercandising of the new snake oil ?

depressed women

druggie women

bpd women

crazy women

broke women

had sex with 50 guys women
(more like 150)

Those traits from that list all describe a gf of mine, best sex ever. However, that does not make the 'run' advice bad.

Good points on how stereotyping follows from this list, Mr. Me.

Standard issue incorrect inference fodder for logically challenged females and the foolish fellows who want so desperately to impress them.

And ain't it wonderful how the couch-potato chicks' darlings Oprah and Dr. Phil just love to shoot at obvious, easy targets?

what a stupid ******* this pam houston is. her article was vague and her little vignettes werent even humorous or entertaining. what an ass hat...how did she get a job? 200 years ago she would have been left to starve...or atleast work in a field somewhere where her obvious lack of communication skills wouldnt be able to confuse anyone

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Numero Uno Guy Women Should Avoid:

Men who actually think. They enjoy a good book and having stimulating intellectual conversation with their buddies and complete strangers in bars. They are perfectly okay with the idea of never being with you and probably may encourage the idea. They know how to manage money and have money in the bank, but they won't give you the PIN number on their debit card. They know the difference between merlot, cabernet savignon, and pinot noir wines, but Valentine's Day is not an officially recognized holiday on their calendar.

Beautiful Deep Dish, just beautiful!

(though I do like to make the most of any reason to show a deserving woman a good time, including Valentine's Day)

I don't see any difference between this article and Latinoman's thread on this same forum, same page.

Both are about standards, mostly stict, and mostly silly.

Think debt load JOE. Credit debt becomes community debt after marriage. Women may consider their college educations a point of pride, but the student loans and credit card debt the vast majority of them end up with after college is epidemic. Combine this with the fact that women have always been the prime consumer demographic in the U.S. and you can see why being wary of a woman in debt is always a good idea.

If you ever decide to get married you better run a credit check on your future wife to be. Don't take her word for it.

I had a friend who had been married for a couple of months and decided to look at a new truck to buy. When the dealership did a credit check on him they said his credit was bad. He was baffled because he knew his credit was good. It turns out his wife had something like $20,000 in debt that she never told him about. He imediatley divorced her before that debt became his. In California I guess there is a 6 month window before your spouses debt becomes yours.

If you don't do your homework you deserve what comes your way.

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
