What is it.... i have searched for like 30 minutes now I cant find an article which actually states what it is! From what I gather it's when you get attached to one chick, right?

It's when you focus on just one girl. I had that recently. Not good. You always want to have a few options.

If you are exclusive with the girl, IMHO there is nothing wrong with oneitis.

The trap many fall into is when they are dating, or looking to date a certain girl and just focus on her.

I've done that, it just drives them away faster.

It's not bad per se. It depends on who the girl is and the type of relationship you have.

One-itis focusses on a girl that you barely know, and probably have never talked to. Or it could be a girl that you've talked to in the past, but messed up through inane conversation or desperate actions. Either way, you are probably not going to get laid.

On the other hand, if you've been seeing a girl for years and she is your only love. That could be describe as a one-itis, and that would be good.

Oneitis can also be a girl you dated and are trying to get back. And then she starts taking up all your thoughts and usually she's rejecting you.

That's the worse type of oneitis right there.

Its true, oneitis is bad if youre not in a relationship because you just focus on one girl and when things get rough with her or it breaks off completely youre left feeling like S***. A cute girl LOST ME recently, it didnt bother me cause I have 3 others on the go if it was me last december, I would have been an emo kid everyday.
