"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Just been thinking about something my last gf said and wondered how you guys would have responded.

Was texting with her late one night and she was saying how she was getting all horny telling me how she could';t wait for me to come over the next day and I said 'Why don't you get your toy out and have a play, of course it won't be as good as having me there ;)' she replies with 'lol yea right' :/
Really p1ssed me off tbh and I responded in a bit of an ACFish way by saying 'ouch now that hurts' then she said something like she was only joking...I mean wtf should you expect such a neg off your gf or am I right in thinking that was below the belt even though I know she was joking.

Anyway, how would you guys have responded to that?

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

But if I had not responded and cancelled straight after she said it surely that would have shown that it affected me. I tried to play it off jokingly so as to not seem too bothered by it as I didn't want to let her see that she'd got to me.

She'd already showed me it before. Was probably 8 inches with a little bend at the top nothing amazing.

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Did she mean, "yeah, right, why would I use that when I have you coming over tomorrow"?

No she was saying that her vibrator was better than me...I said 'use your toy for now, it won't be as good but it'll tide you over until tomorrow' or something and she said 'lol yea right' as in I was no match for it.

I would have laughed it off. Then the next day, fvck the sh!t out of her like it was the last time you would ever fvck her. She'd forget about the vibrator.

And are you absolutely sure that's what she meant? 100% sure? Texting leads to many, many miscommunications, I've found.

Yes 100% sure. I know her very well. She loved playing little games and being cheeky with me all the time. Lots of sh1t tests especially in the last few months of the relationship which is when this happened.

"She's Out of Your League"

You've said it a hundred times. Maybe a thousand. And every time you say it, you train your brain to freeze the next time she walks into the room.

Leagues are a myth invented by guys who are scared of women.

She's a person. She has bad breath in the morning. She picks songs she can't sing in the shower. She overthinks her own texts.

Walk over. Say something. The league dissolves the second you open your mouth.

Yea I guess you're right but at the time she was my first ever gf and first girl I'd slept with so it hit me pretty hard even though I knew it was a joke.

many women cant really cvm without one. would you reject her because she needs glasses in order to see properly? Do you think that she CHOSE to be half blind, or chose to have sexual problems? of course not. So why hold either one against her, hmmm?
