I go the track 4-5 days a week, on my way there now actually (Breeders cup)
You were there? I was there from 8 am until 6 that night lol. Never saw a crowd take to a horse like they have in the past and they did that day with Zenyatta. Saw grown man crying when she won lol. Have all kinds of pics of her. Helluva race horse.

BTW I live about 7 minutes away from there.

I'm thinking the track is not a very good place to meet friends, unless you're into hanging out with 73 yo men who sh*t themselves:D .

But seriously, my social life blows also. It didn't always, it just seems like a series of bad luck and bad decisions over the years led me down the path of lame social life. sux.

You broke two rules,

- Never communicate with an ex. It will always serve as a covert battle with no advantages.

- Never send a "contraglations" email. It is a form of supplication and she will not respect your intellect.

Then again if she bought a new car previous to a contract of sale of her old, I take back the "intellect" comment.

hell the good friends I do have I meet at the track. not the sterotypes you would think (73 year old people with pacemakers walking around)

my soon to be fiancee (i'm proposing next week, it's a suprise) I met at the track.

and thats amazing to me, thats incredible. Its like me meeting my future wife at the poker tables. I would put the odds a 1000:1.

I think for you its definitely meant to be then. Lets face it, the track is NOT the place to meet chics so if you do it must be THE ONE.

explain to me how meeting a woman at the horse track is different from meeting a woman at starbucks, a night club, a sports bar or at a grocery store?

certain "places" to meet people is AFCthink. people have lives and you meet someone where they happen to be at that moment in their life.

my GF doesn't even gamble. but she could have just as easily been at the track with her daddy who had a horse running and came to be a part of the group win picture or she could have been a news reporter doing a story or she coudl have worked at frontrunners (the resturant at santa anita) as a waitress, etc.

even if I did meet her "at the track", like there is a rule against "good girls" gambling. You'd be suprised how many women go to the track becuase their parents took them there when they were little and they feel in love with horses and go whenever they get the free time. Again, AFC think

when my GF and I go to the track (on the weekends, not during the week) her "girlfriends" and she has an army of them, anywhere from 8 to 15 of them are there with us at any time. normal, fuctioning women wtih normal jobs who love horses and love to follow horse racing because of it. a few of them are pretty cute too. A few work in the indusrty but the vast majority of them don't. Just like to go to the track, no different than you like to go to a college football game.

Actually I'd even venture to say your post could not be farther from the truth... the horse track is america's hidden gem of ass. Alot of women have a love affair with horses, espically those exposed to them at an early age, that they never grow out of. Men go to the track to gamble for the most part. Women go to watch the horses. My mom even does. she may place a bet but she goes to see the horses. she was the first one to ever take me to a horse track in fact.

Take Bo Derek. There isn't a guy here on this forum that wouldn't **** the dog **** out of Bo Derek. Well Bo Derek is actually on the california horse racing board

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bo_Derek

horse lover and riding enthusiast since childhood, she is the owner of Iberian horses and is a spokesperson for the Animal Welfare Institute's national campaign to end horse slaughter through passage of federal and state legislation. On February 5, 2002, she published her autobiography entitled Riding Lessons: Everything That Matters in Life I Learned from Horses (ISBN 0-060-39437-4).
Derek currently serves on the California Horse Racing Board of Directors.[

Actually saw her a few months back at Santa Anita. But nah that's not the type of woman I would want to meet lol.

Get the silly AFC think out your head, you are missing out on a world of ass being narrow minded.

well it's not like I met her in the betting line or anything. I was at clocker's corner at Santa Anita which I used to go to every morning back then and she was an exercise rider who I thought was very attractive. one day I saw her eating breakfast by herself catching glances at me and I made a move and the rest was history.

st99 is way off.

"Good" girls love horses. Not all good girls love horses, but you don't see gutter skanks at the horsetrack, especially up in the boxes:cool:

I go to Keeneland a couple times a year, and it is a$$ city down there. UK college girls down on the ground, and hot young things in fancy dresses up in the stands. Kentucky is a sleeper state, you wouldn't think so, but anytime I'm in Lexington or Louisville I see HBs like crazy.

One of my goals of the next 5 years is to buy a couple good horses and ride them all over the place, I'm bringing back the horse y'all

quoted for truth

the biggest fight my GF and I have gotten into to date was about 3 months after we started dating, she went home with me (little rock) and we went to keeneland for the weekend and I "coluldn't keep my eyes to myself".. she was right too. god damn there is so much ass at keeneland.

If you currently have too many women chasing you, calling you, harassing you, knocking on your door at 2 o'clock in the morning... then I have the simple solution for you.

Just read my free ebook 22 Rules for Massive Success With Women and do the opposite of what I recommend.

This will quickly drive all women away from you.

And you will be able to relax and to live your life in peace and quiet.

Nah, u got me all wrong. Its not about the gambling. I'm just saying the ratio of men to women at the track has to be like 40 to 1 or something like that.

Just like your typical poker tourney has very few women then you narrow it down even further to ones you actually would bang then its really slim pickens.

Agreed though, always keep an eye out because anything is possible.

yes... no women whatsoever at the track

do yourself a favor and go sometime. you'd be quite suprised.

3 weeks before or so.. might have been 2.. i met my GF, I went to Del mar and walked out with 6 phone numbers. it took me about 3-4 months for me to take my current GF seriously from all the track plates I was spinning. that was a pretty epic day... opening day at del mar, i went there with the intention to sarge and I did... but dude... you have no idea. seriously.
