Number is best, it is less hard to get a girl by calling her then emailing her. With email it can get lost or she can just delete it, but when someone calls you it is kind of hard to ignore the call isn't, like they say, curiosity kills the cat. Get the number if possible, I know myself it is hard to make a call, I like to email, it is easier for me. But GET THE NUMBER, you will probally do better.

Personaly, I think i have a great voice and do well on the phone, I always get numbers. Email addresses or screen names can go either way..

I usually talk about school, and that is about it. I am not good with conversations, that is one of the reasons I am here. I also sound despriate and am not good at an approach or anything really. Right now I have this chicks emai and am not sure were to go from here, how to start out an email or keep it going and maybe get her phone. The one time before when I went from email to phone I just give her my phone and she gave me hers. What should I do?

Ok, lets see how this sounds to you to start things off with a first email, just to get the ball roling. "Hey, Whats Up, NMH. I was kinda bored and decided to email someone, I bet you can guess who the lucky person was. So how you doing in math class, I am doing great, much better then last 6 weeks. Hope to hear back from you soon, Kegger." Ok I think that sounds to needy or desperate, what do you think.

Numbers EVERY time. You guys seem to forget that girls are people as well, they ask questions, and initiate threads of conversation as well. There is nothing to talking on the phone, a girl worth dating will start conversations and ask questions of you, it's not all about YOU having to ask questions. It's not an interview, ffs.
Plus, email is pretty lame. You can't act sexy and desirable via text, unless it's a letter, and you've been dating for years.
I vote numbers.
edit: Plus, asking for like, an MSN addy in highschool is practically instant friend-zoning. "Give me your number" has all the right connotations associated with it (it's the stereotypical start to a relationship, and girls know this), so that works in your favour.

Getting a Email adress is definately easier when first starting out. But I feel kinda weird emailing a girl, tryin to set something up. So I usually just get the number. Since I'm more comfortable calling or texting a girl to set something up.

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
