I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.
She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.
Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.
Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.
What has been the youngest you have been able to date/attract?samspade said:Then date younger women. It's that simple.
Hey that is pretty good.samspade said:You got me beat. When I was 31-32, I dated a 23 year old. So, 8-9 years. This past year I've gone out with an 18 year old and a 23 year old but didn't get anywhere with either. My game is not sharp right now. The 18 year old was a number-close though. She thought I was around 26. I never corrected her. Ha!
Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
I've got a dozen years on you and I pretty much feel the same. :yes:WCS14 said:Anybody else feel this way? I guess it is simple male biology...
I only want to date 25 up to 32 tops!

I think I got you all beat; when I was 38 I dated a 19 year old.samspade said:You got me beat. When I was 31-32, I dated a 23 year old. So, 8-9 years. She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Agree with this. I've found women, at least in my area, who are my age (early to mid 30's) pretty intolerable.Warrior74 said:I find very few women my age physically attractive and the ones that are reside firmly out of my league or have attitudes that make them unattractive. It's usually the latter and not the former.
I find that women in the late 30s early 40s tend to think that a. their accomplishments professionally impresses me. and b. What they want matters to me.

It breaks down the younger woman older man relation.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
