She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.
Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.
Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers. Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.
I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.
Natural states are powerful, you should be able to close 90-95% of the time.Micheal Moon said:I agree with GQ confidence, its just about being in a natural state. I had a really good cold approach yesterday and number closed a cute Middle Eastern girl. I was actually not even paying attention when she sat down beside me (on the bus which I take occassionally).
It was only when I got the IOI's that I noticed her. Trying to get eye contact, playing with her hair which I notice girls do subconsciously and they don't even notice it I think. I just escalated it and started the convo from there.
I was just relaxing (and actually felt a little drowsy from some allergy meds I took).
They do it because they're not interested. It's actually pretty simple. Most women who are interested, are going to make it AT LEAST somewhat obvious.Jitterbug said:Congrats edger, you've finally realised that women do things that make no sense!
Get some female friends to enlighten you on some of the stupid things they do to NOT make it obvious for guys they have a serious crush on.edger said:They do it because they're not interested. Yeah, I'm sure these things happen, but in the greater majority of cases, I highly, highly doubt to the greatest degree that this is what's happening. Again, most of the time I don't get any IOI's whatsoever...I highly doubt a lot of these women who aren't giving me buying signals, "are just acting this way because they're really interested, but playing it cool". If anything, it's gotta be a very, very small percentage of women who do this. It's silly and pretty delusional to think otherwise. Sometimes you have to look at the real picture. The Grue said:Classic scene from Woody Allen's Manhattan
Amanda: I've had a crush on you since we met. Couldn't you tell, the way I was ignoring you?
That's your own low self esteem talking.Willis said:i dont think i ever get IOIs...i think its because i dont have goodlooks or somethin...all i get is a regular look...
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
