"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

No big deal, just looking for a response to a **** test

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Don't take it seriously. I get told I'm cute and have delicious lips all the time and I just ignore them.

How would you guys respond if a girl told you "Mmm...you're cute, but I've seen better."

"are you one of those people who can see angels then?"

"Cool" "Word" "Totally" etc...

Sometimes a longer witty response is good but I'm realizing more and more that one word/short responses are better.

If you really are the best of the best, insults don't faze you and neither do (backhanded) compliments.

"Why Women Dump the Guys Who Try the Hardest"

You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.

And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.

Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.

The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.

Seems too eager to assert her own (fake) self worth if you ask me.

With a bit of indifference this is the sort of girl who will also tell you "omg I don't usually do that with a guy I've only known for X weeks" (or days).

Doesn't matter, irrelevant, either ignore the comment or be like "Gee thanks, don't I feel special! " and move on immediately.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

1. What? Are there no mirrors at your place?
2. Yeah, well I guess you can't have a killer wit/a Mensa IQ/a massive penis (or all of the above) and good looks all at the same time.
3. This is great, we have so much in common!
4. Yeah, that's why I could only make it as a hand model.
5. If you're really lucky, you'll get to see me first thing in the morning. Then you're in for a real treat.
