His attitude in that article is basically that "The Game" and his philosophy is about total improvement as a man, not just "picking up" women.
I see people on here obsessed with how to increase their chances with women while seemingly ignoring every other facet of their lives. If your career is crap or nonexistent and you don't have any friends, you should work on getting everything together. The qualities that land you a successful job and friends are the same ones that will help you meet women.
Being successful with women is a lifestyle, not just an act you put on when you enter a club (which is why he is said that some people focus on "negging" & "peacocking").

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

I think the game and mystery is an eye opener to a lot of guys who dont know the nature of woman , you rarely find articles help men to success in their relationship

if you improve yourself, the women will just come. I did this, I find my life more enjoyable. Theres no point to just go out and get women if your life isnt together .... wheres the fun in that ?

The point I take is that women are merely a byproduct of improving your life.
Even if you improve your life and still don't get laid as much as you'd like, you're still living a better life which is of benefit to you.
