"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

So I go to this coffee shop every so often, and theres this one waitress who I like, I really dont know if she likes me, shes looked at me and smiled a few times, i duno im not a mind reader.

So my question is...what is the best way to approach this? I have to make a move or somethin

Thanks lol

"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

back in the day when i waited tables, guys would just start a conversation.
some asked if i was married or if i had a boyfriend.
others would just start chatting about movies or concerts or random stuff.
once you start some sort of conversation, you will find out things about her.

"did you see xxx movie yet"
"no my boyfriend is taking me friday"
then you know she has one....

or "i have been dying to get tickets for xxx"
her"i want to go to but i just broke up with my boyfriend and haven't found anyone else to go with."

i really think chatting with strangers is easy.
they don't know everything about you, so you can really say anything.
if you don't like how the talk went, you never have to go back to that place . lol its good to practice communication skills.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

How about spinning plates instead of obsessing over one random waitress who smiled at you? How about that?

I'm telling you the truth.

The main purpose of this site isn't about how to deal with mini issues, but how to be a real man. If you come in here and post that a waitress at a coffee shop smiled at you and you want advice on what to do, my advice is you have to get a life. (No offence). Guess what? It's their job to smile.

I had 10 waitresses smile at me tonight. I had one of those 10 waitresses unbuttom my shirt to see my nipples and give me Mardi Gras beads. I had another with heavy kino. I had another ask me 100 questions. Should I start 10 separate threads on what to do? They're hired guns. They're going to be more friendly than the aveage chick on the street. My advice is don't read too much into it, but if you must go back and talk to her and bust her balls. If she likes "Friends," say "You do? That show sucks." Etc.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
