Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.
She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.
Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.
So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.
The words come later. The impression comes first.
Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.
Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?
You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.
Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.
very smart, i did not even think they were playing for 50kAgent Zero said:Are these guys even trying to win the game? There's 50 large at stake here so I don't know why you wouldn't pick the idiots like Pradeep and Scott to be your wingmen. Kosmo was stupid to keep around some of the best players.
Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.
You've been "getting ready" for two years.
She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.
Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
i never thought about that...ya if he really wanted to win, thatd be the smart thing to do...i guess theyre all jus really tight and their real goal is self improvement.....which is good but i mean, thats alotta cash hahaAgent Zero said:Are these guys even trying to win the game? You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
From what I've seen so far women know about the show and think it's a joke. The majority have been ragging on the pick up lines. FYI to you guys, do not use the "dental floss" line, women are hip to it.STR8UP said:So you're basically saying that just because of a tv show women are going to learn to think logically and begin to realize that they are actually being.....hit on?
I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
No sh*t. You're taking my post out of context. I was trying to say that women might think guys are trying to follow a system and trying to be something their not; putting on an act to get a woman, trying too hard = LAME in their eyes. I was also trying to say the DJ and PUA techniques will no longer be original if everyone starts using them. Therefore it won't have the same value as it once did.squirrels said:Jesus...pathetic. "OMG...what if women find out that I'm actually ATTRACTED to them and *gasp* want to SLEEP with them?! Whatever will I do when my impure and nefarious aims are exposed??"
Be a man. You're SUPPOSED to like women. You're SUPPOSED to want to get in their pants. There's no shame in learning how to do that. It's only an utter tool who's too afraid of admitting that he isn't good at something to take the steps to get better at it.
Worried about trading on Mystery's system? Then get out there in "the field", talk to women, and develop your own.
Str8up, you don't think women know when they're being hit on? Women can smell a guy who's trying to hit on them a mile away. They may not be logical, but they sure know what's up when a guy wants to f*ck them.STR8UP said:So you're basically saying that just because of a tv show women are going to learn to think logically and begin to realize that they are actually being.....hit on?

Of course they do, that was sarcasmedger said:Str8up, you don't think women know when they're being hit on? Women can smell a guy who's trying to hit on them a mile away. They may not be logical, but they sure know what's up when a guy wants to f*ck them.
Anyway, read my response to Squirrels, that's what this thread was about.
