Originally I just went to her house and smashed her and stayed the night. But she invited me to go to lunch with her the other day which is something very different than what we usually do. Does this mean anything or is she just casually asking me to eat wth her?

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

You set the parameters of the arrangement, then it's your job to stick with those parameters, if she doesn't like it, she can walk. Simple as that.

You do what you want. If you don't want to date her, you don't date her.

Yeah see I think she's definitely girlfriend material but am very confused about why she's inviting me to eat wth her. Honestly I ****ing hate eating with people, so do you reckon she wants to date or keep on being fb's with me

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

generally eating with someone is a somewhat intimate activity. You hate eating with people? That's a bit strange, but that's your POV.
She probably wants to move things more toward dating, and that is a pretty natural move. Most people enjoy eating with people they like. Its a bonding activity.

"Honestly I ****ing hate eating with people"

Hahaha I'm the same way.. Ordering food at the bar where you're not facing each other and there are sports on TV is much more comfortable to me. Sitting across from someone quietly eating trying to come up with horsesh*t conversation until you can go back to your place and bang is just torturous. I guess underlying this is my lack of social skills and fear of opening up to people in general, but there is nothing more cringe-worthy and uncomfortable than forced small talk and awkward silences, especially while you're trying to enjoy a meal.
