When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.
Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.
Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.
The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.
She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.
You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.
She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.
The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.
I laughed when that guy said that. Reincarnated must have sounded a lot cooler than 'made' or 'filmed' to him.realsmoothie said:RE: "who was the first person to walk on the moon"
DUMB GUY: "well, I gotta tell ya, some people don't believe that happened. Some people believe it was, uh, reincarnated in Arizona"
THIS is how people like Bush get elected down there.
She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.
Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.
The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Obviously, this was a biased survey and (I HOPE!) not a fair reflection of Americans as a whole.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
You may be right. They might be stupid. They might misspell "symbolize" and "hundreds" too.LAWYER said:OK this doesnt simbolize amerca... haha! LAWYER got served!( . )( . ) said:"The Chaser's - War on everything" lol I thought it might be those guys by reading the replies, they take the piss out of everything so dont take it to heart. I'm very much anti T.V usually (so are those guys ironically) but I wont miss an episode of that sh!t.
And lol I'm no spelling nazi...but fvck man stick to hieroglyphics or something.
LOL I'm glad he's not my "LAWYER" I never thought you could have an IQ below 80 and be one. Obviously these TV shows interview a lot of people and take the really retarded ones well 51% of Americans (Those who reelected Bush) to make their program.realsmoothie said:You may be right. Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."
You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.
She's been waiting forty minutes.
Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
Wrong. Every exit poll showed that the higher someone's income level is and the more education they had, with the exception of Post-Grad education, they were more likely to vote for Bush in the last election than Kerry, and that people who earned more than 50K per year were more likely to vote for Bush as well.realsmoothie said:RE: "who was the first person to walk on the moon"

Who the hell doesn't have an undergrad degree these days? The stuff you can get away with not knowing and still graduate from college is absurd. And yeah, democrats as a whole tend to have higher educations than republicans. Not to mention these statistics will always of course take into account extremely low-income/low-education people, aka the poor, who always vote democrat.Derek Flint said:Wrong. Perhaps you should educate yourself before making stupid generalizations at the risk of looking...stupid yourself.

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?
She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."
She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.
I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.
Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.
