"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.

Today I met with a girl that was my classmate in primary school when we were 8 years old, the first crush of my life. She's still super hot and incredibly cute and was being very flirty and fun the whole time, she lives with some dude though. Funny how even after 30 years the emotions can still linger and the flame still burns. Not sure if I should take those IOIs and do something with it or just let it be

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.

Not sure what to text her, it’s been a few days now, she said she’s gonna send me something specific we talked about but hasn’t yet; I also have a class photo from the primary school of our class, could send that without saying anything

No. Do not send her anything. Ask her out. Plan the logistics. Take her somewhere close to your house or her house (because sex can happen if the night goes well). Pick her up if you can. On the date, escalate. Attempt to kiss her within 45 minutes. 30 is even better.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

We don't live in the same country and I won't be in that country for another 3 months, so have to get the rapport going if want to escalate (and I do)

Nah. Disappear. Reappear 2-3 weeks before you go to the country. You gain nothing by chatting with this girl for 3 months when you haven’t even banged yet.

Advice from the old lady:

Distance (and Silence) make the heart grow fonder. Let it lie. But really I disagree with the guys. You are too emotionally attached to this girl….who lives with another man.

You are going to get yourself hurt unless you seriously (not fantasy land) think she’s going to leave the inertia of her current live in relationship…you cannot sport fvck this girl.

And even if she were to leave him for you, you’d never entirely trust her because she betrayed him.

I don’t have any hopes and wouldn’t think she’d break off anything with her guy, but seeing that the energy definitely was there and she flirted like crazy, I would regret if I didn’t act on it in some way

Just why are you even bothering considering this?

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

If you were local to her, I would recommend acting on it. If she were local and she's unhappy in her relationship, she will be inclined to have sex with you if you present yourself as an compelling option for her.

Since she's not local, this is a waste of time.

There are women who were my high school and college classmates that I would find appealing for sex now at ~40. The few women that have kept in good shape and aged gently could be interesting options. None of them live close to me so it's not reality for me.

The best advice is to focus on younger, LOCAL women.

You will not be in that country for another 3 months what is the point of building rapport?

Why do we do the things we do? You could ask every guy that’s chasing tail here the very same question
I asked because this seems like a waste of time and energy. I go by the line by Dr. Robert Glover: “Walk through open doors”.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
