"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

does anyone use match.com?

would you say the quality of women is better than the ones on pof because you have to pay for a subscription or the fact they're internet dating in general equals low quality?

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

I'm sure I read about match.com making fake profiles to generate interest.

POF/OKC are fine. Snog.com is interesting too, lots of replies, just make sure you filter out the illegally young!!

I live in a large metro area where there are plenty of women to date but it doesn't make it any easier finding one for long term success!

I used both sites extensively for a few years. I've found good and bad on both of them. But in general I think match had a little higher quality that brought more to the table as far as looks, class, and careers go.

I encountered a little more flakey behavior on pof. I think because it is free, you have girls that are there for attention whoring, not dating which results in more flakeyness.

And yes I've seen those fake profiles on match. They have also been involved in a few court cases over things along those lines.

As I get older, I just don't have the energy to do what it takes to be successful with online dating like I did at one point. I don't care to sort thru all the trash and there is a ton of it on those dating sites.

Put up good pics, have a profile that stands out from the crowd, and send out a ton of messages that are designed to illicit a response like nobody elses. Do all this and you will snag a few.

Regardless of the site, I just don't think online dating is the answer. Its a notch or two better than scoring girls at bars.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

A winner is you!

Most of my online dating "success" actually came from matchmaker. Last I checked, I had over 250 interests. Too bad they charge you to read mail, so I never got to talk to any of them, or see anything beyond the headline they put in the mail. Some nice looking girls, though. The "hot" ones ALWAYS want to go to a bar, party, hang out, or anything involving alcohol, sex, and no accountability. I wish they werent all the spawn of Satan.

To not contact them was probably God saving me from evil. Bwahahaha! :nono:
