"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

...started 'dating' a girl whom i knew 3 years ago. Got married five months ago but is filing for divorce....should i wait till paper work is over or get the ball started now? I want in....

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

Depends on how pissed off your soon-to-be ex wife is with you. She could drag the girl into the divorce as a "homewrecker" and the reason for the divorce. Best to wait till the papers are signed.

Why are you getting a divorce after only 5 months?

I think he means the chick is still married, technically. You might have a husband on your ass, if yiou dont wait. He might be on your ass even if you do though. Your call man. Its dangerous though.

I'd be careful about "dating" her (treating her as a girlfriend). Once you do, you allow a method for her turmoil to seep into your life. Tread her as a FWB and keep yourself detached. Also as always, beware of becoming the "rebound guy." :nono:

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

Dude if you can't even keep your own Wife for six months it would be better for everyone concerned if you kept well away from any other girls in the future, this is quite pathetic really.

So you are falling in love with her.

LOL.

I feel sorry for you.

By the way, I know of a case that happened about 5 or 6 years ago. A couple (married couple friend of the woman) was visiting this recently divorced woman. They were there with their children and there was another guy there and I guess the woman's children too.

The ex-husband came in armed...tied up all the adults and send the children to the room. Then he came back and killed ALL the adults (including the innocent by-standers that were just visiting). He then killed himself.

I know this story because their were some custody battle for the orphan children of the couple that was visiting the recently divorced woman as they were killed in that house too and left the children orphan.

That's what happen when a man feels that he is losing something as most men that are getting divorced feel that way.

Heres more of a break-down

We knew each other 3 years ago. Would chat online for maybe no more than 2-5 minutes a month if that

So one day i said, you know if you werent going out with x and i wasn't dating y - i would have asked you out.

She reply was 'really - i would have said yes'

So after hanging out lately she tells me back then she had this huge crush on me. I liked her too.

So we have a history - i dont want to be a 'rebound' its just we click on many levels. I went from being a guy who was going to have '5 girls' to just wanting one and only one. She cracked my wall i've had up for the last six months and i am in no real hurry to close it up just yet

Do you know any details of why they are getting divorced so soon? I suggest finding out.

Here she comes down the court. Her soon to be ex sticks his hand in and slows her down, she changes directions several times and then drives down the baseline; she's up and the ex comes up from behind and WHAP!!! Pakwah is slapped, and slapped hard off the backboard like a brick! He bounces and rolls toward the crowd. She frantically chases him down aaaannnnndddd..... WHOA, she keeps Pakwah from getting away, it's still her game. She turn with a light dribble just to see her ex at the top of the key, waiting for her again....

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

Wow, what a hor! Just 5 months and already cashing in...

Why do men get married anymore? I don't get it. If prostitution is illegal, why is marriage still legal?

First, let's look at the reasons for a guy to cheat on his wife:

- She's a bytch
- He wasn't interested in her

Also, since you don't have both sides of the story, don't forget to include the possibility that she made up excuses and used her imagination to get out of the marriage.

There's something not quite right here. She's eagerly dating someone while the ink is still drying on the marriage papers. It makes me wonder what the motivation was behind the marriage. Did she lead him into something he didn't want? Or did he lead her into it?

Divorced women are damaged goods. Divorced women with kids are more damaged. Twice divorced women are even worse. Just curious, how old is this woman?

Now, here's what's wrong with you:

I went from being a guy who was going to have '5 girls' to just wanting one and only one. She cracked my wall i've had up for the last six months and i am in no real hurry to close it up just yet
First, you have one-itis

Second, you seem to be addicted to drama yourself. You want to date a freshly married separated woman. If that isn't bad enough, what happened to your possibly pregnant ex that you and her bf were fvcking at the same time?

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
