Why "Whatever You Want" Keeps You Single

She says the movie looks dumb; you suddenly agree. She tests you with a little attitude; you apologize for nothing.

You think you're being easy to get along with. She reads something else entirely: a man with no edges. Nothing to hold on to. No friction, no tension, no reason to wonder what he really thinks.

The "22 Rules" taught me to push back — playfully, calmly, without needing her approval. Strange things happened after that.

www.thefacebook.com is something i just learned about recently but it's basically a website that networks college students from your campus and campuses all over the U.S. You can create your own profile, group w/ your own message board, and other fun stuff. The best aspect though is that it's a free way to interact with girls you can SEE AND KNOW are at your college. Beginner DJ's can use the poke and messaging as a predecesor to cold approaches and advanced DJs can use it to meet girls within ur college that u might not necessarilly meet in ur everyday activity. Also, it shows who your friends are and you can meet people who you are connected to through friends, class, and a host of other interests. There's thousands of people from my school, U of AZ, on here. The best part about it is that it's all in the name of fun, it's free, and its a good medium to practice and improve your skills. There's tons more u can do on here but u just gotta check it for yourself.

If your school is on there, you need a school e-mail to get logged-on and its easy money from there.

www.thefacebook.com enjoy!

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Love the facebook, but I wouldn't use it as a tool for actually meeting people. I like to see what hot girls are connected to my friends, and then asked my friends to introduce me in person. It can also be used as an IOI for girls you meet at parties - if they add you as a friend the next day, it probably means they're interested.

Also, from what girls have told me, they find it kinda creepy when someone they don't know sends them a message out of nowhere. Try it at your own risk.

I go to Wash U btw...

dcfball - i'm a jr. here.

Interpol - Of course there's gonna be a creep factor if u message a chick outta nowhere. I personally like to surf a little and poke about 10 chicks and see which ones and how many poke me back. I see getting poked or poked back as a green light to holla. If we exchange a few messages and she seems cool i'll add her to my friends and if she accepts I take it from there and if not then i'll see her when i see her.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

yeah, there are a TON of hot chicks in that thing for my school. Pretty amazing how many are single and looking for boyfriends. The onyl thing id use it for is if I ever happened to bump into said girl, i'd know if they were single or not.

Not another "thefacebook" thread. This has been mentioned about a zillion times, thanks though.

I observed with some amusement a friend of mine named Katherine, who found about several f*ckbuddies (she's a bit of a nympho  ) through facebook during the first few months of school. So yeah, if you are an attractive woman, you can get guys interested in you - but this is the case in just about all situations. I have NEVER seen successful cold pickups by guys on facebook. It seems that girls will FREQUENTLY get messaged by guys from random schools when they have attractive pics up, and they do not like this. I have seen many of my female friends get EXTREMELY sketched out

Facebook, like all forms of messaging, is a tool. Use it as such: for example, if an interested girl friends you, consider playing with her by sending her a message saying you are not ready for that kind of commitment (obviously silly, since the "commitment" is a facebook friendship - but she will start to worry), and reject her :p . I have done this to good effect several times.

Since we all seem to be posting our schools, I go to Brown University.
