Attraction runs on a clock.
She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.
The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."
One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.
Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.
The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.
Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.
Did she ask you why? What's ur response?teddy said:Had same thing happen. I told her we couldn't be friends and she got pissed. The next week, I actually made plans to hang out with her again. She flaked a day later. Haven't talked to her since.
Just move on with your life. This will keep happening no matter what.
I was completely straightforward. I've done both before, in terms of fading away or being straightforward. It doesn't matter what you do.LeonSK said:Did she ask you why? What's ur response?
I am about to do the same. Wondering how straightforward I should phrase it.
You paid for dinner. You drove. You said "whatever you want is fine" every single time. All the effort, no expectations.
And she left anyway — probably for a guy who makes her pick up the pizza.
Painful. Also predictable. Her mind quietly concludes that anything requiring zero effort from her is worth exactly zero. You became a free sample, and free samples get taken for granted.
The 22 Rules flip the dynamic. Small shifts that get her investing effort, money, and time in you — until SHE'S the one afraid of losing YOU.
This is easier said than done for beginners. I don't know if OP is just starting out, but if he is, it's better to just start with women you don't know. The psychological factor isn't there.TheGambino said:Means that she's not sexually attracted to you, she likes you're company but you don't make her wet.
But dude you should make a move when youre chilling with her.
It's not so hard, kino, escalate, tease and kiss her, believe me she will go along with it if she likes you and maybe afterwards be very confused or anything like that, you remain cool.
Your job is to escalate let her think about the 'relationship' wheter she sees you as a friend or not.
If she rejects you act like it didn't affect you, stay positive and then just go ghost or keep her around to introduce you to her friends. If being only friends with her hurts you, then move on and don't look back.
Yeah, I'm just starting out, ended a long-term relationship a couple months ago.teddy said:This is easier said than done for beginners. I don't know if OP is just starting out, but if he is, it's better to just start with women you don't know. The psychological factor isn't there.
And hopefully OP isn't like me and keeps picking girls with bfs.
Yeah, I find that with people like me who lack experience, while what you're saying is correct, invariably me and other beginners won't be able to fully free ourselves from our mindframe and end up making the thing complicated and awkward. And because we're beginners, we just don't have a lot of plates spinning.TheGambino said:Ye that's true Teddy, the outcome could be very complicated and awkward if not done right lol. But I always vote for making moves in the friendzone, it's the only way to get out. Be sexual, if she has any interest in sleeping with you she will go along with it, just move it up slowly.
If you just started out and been friendzoned more often, then you should indeed find new girls and learn to be sexual from the start with them. If you make moves, you'll never get friendzoned, either she's in for the bang or she gives you mixed signals (=low interest) or even a rejection(so what just move on to the next..).
LeonSK, she brings a friend with her while hanging out, that's a big red flag.. You should def move on from this one, she does that to prevent you from making escalating moves on her.
You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.
For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.
Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.
The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.
Maybe sometimes, but some females I've done this to just get angry at me and I never hear from them again.foreverAFC said:just curious but do you guys think females who are trying to turn a guy into an orbiter ever get truly turned on by him when she sees that he wont comply ?
What if I told you they get angry to themselves for not making it?!?teddy said:Maybe sometimes, but some females I've done this to just get angry at me and I never hear from them again.
