Rome wasn't built in a day. Expecting the OP to suddenly become perfect after years of habits is unrealistic.

The important thing is that he's taking advice, trying new things, and moving forward with the process. That's more than can be said for a lot of people. I can count on one hand the number of posters who actually listen to feedback, apply it, and keep putting themselves out there.
