Krappy approach

Went out with the mates tonight to shoot some pool. Next to our table a cutie was shooting pool with her walrus-ugly two girlfriends. She didn't look like an AW so I decided to approach her since none of my mates had confidense in it. After finishing my turn at our table I walk to theirs and start talking to the cute chick. I made small talk about girls night out etc...Then i asked her name and what college the goes to. I said I'll get back to her and went to finish the game with my mates. When I returned they were gone! Schit, i felt really bummed. Is there any way i could've sped up the approach and number closed despite of all the circumstances? It was awkward because i was breaking her away from her game and i was holding up my mates. I'd like to know in detail how you would've dealed with this.

Um, well there wasn't much you could do there. There are plenty of other cute girls out there. Just keep searching.

couldve invited her group to play against you and your friends also

yeah, I woulda did close to the same, 'cept to punish my guy for bieng a coward I woulda prolly ended it with something like

To WB (walrus bunny) "Oh yeah, my guy says you can't beat us in a game of pool."

{icthing for attention, the WB would have took 'him' up on his offer, which in turn, gives you ample time for the HB rapport build-up/close etc.

I'm an A-hole so pardon me if this seems a bit wrong to do to a friend

learn how to use a wingman (or two) and use a wingman next time. that wingman could've taken the grenade (one of the 2 other walrus chicks) and you just stand in the background waiting to attack the real target.

but yeah that was a approach albeit a crappy one.
