"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Hey guys,

I had "tentative" plans w/ a girl I work with and she just called me to cancel. Technically, we didn't have a date, but plans to get together, so maybe I should relax, but still...you know how it goes

Quick recap:Work with her, don't ever see her there though(am leaving in a couple of weeks as well...will prob not see her there due to diff. sched), 2 weeks ago went out and had fun, went to her house that night, I could have done whatever I wanted w/her but didn't due to her drunkeness, left next morn and said I would see her at work, saw her 5 days later, flirted more, said we should hang again, she invited me out again, I said no(didn't feel like it), she also texted me a couple of times, didn't respond to the last one..called her past wed(bout 3 days after last seeing her), left short message, no response from her, called once more yesterday, talked to her about goin out(she always parties on Sun night), said she wasn't goin out, but would Mon(tonight) in all probability, told her to call me, she called me tonight and said she was tired and had to work in the morn(called at 7:45, works in morn @10:30), so she said maybe well hang wed, or she'll call me when shes doing something fun, or vice versa, to which I replied, "I"m always doing something fun" , left it open ended, and said bye.....

Sorry for the structure, but did not want to make this too long.....Any analysis guys? Personally, I feel I've handled everything well to this point and have done nothing wrong. So why the cancellation?

Part of me feels she calculated this move for some reason, part of me feels she is a AW, and the smallest part of me feels she is not too interested(other guys, or whatever). But I do feel she is into me.

Whatever the reason, I am turning away from her and probably will not call her again. I've been confindent, funny, and somewhat of a challenge. For her to take this action, it feels like a slap in the face. Oh well!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

I give you a 75% chance that you should take her words at face value, based on the fact that you seem to have not screwed it up too badly.

Well, I thought I kinda turned her down first, but what the hell....she cancelled first. So she was following some kind of rule or something? As for the bad day comment, I had a good day!

"You'll Never Feel READY to Walk Over"

Next Monday you'll feel more confident. After the gym you'll feel more confident. After one more drink you'll feel more confident. After you get a better haircut, a better jacket, a better job.

You've been "getting ready" for two years.

She's standing ten feet away right now. She'll be gone in four minutes. No amount of preparation will manufacture the courage that only comes from moving your feet.

Walk over. Stumble through the first sentence. Let it be clumsy. Let it be imperfect. You will feel more alive in those ten seconds than you have all month.
