Going out solo is a pain.

I have done it before. It's a meh to me.

It's my only option because I don't have anyone in my life willing to accompany me to bars. That's been the case for many years as my friends have married off and formed families.

Solo approaching is a better fit for non-bar venues. Non-bar approaching has its own set of downsides.

1. Go out. 2. Sit down at or hang out around the bar. 3. Talk to people, particularly women you find attractive. There's not much to it but most men won't do it.

I'm not really a club guy, so it was always venues where chatting is possible. Also - works better on weeknights (esp. Thursday) then on weekends. Helps a lot if it's a local bar and your bartenders know you.

I think I find it hard to talk to dudes in most cases and am just now getting out of that rut. However, my game has been falling flat lately. I think a mixture of work stress and life circumstances will do that to you. Trying to get it mentally right.

White collar workers are stressed out right now. White collar work has been in a recession since 2023. White collar layoffs are rising.

It's a bad time to be a white collar worker.

A lot of white collar workers are married. Married men often lose their wives when layoffs happen. Men with unmarried girlfriends are the first ones to get broken with up in a job loss. Married women rarely ever see their husbands file for divorce. Unmarried women rarely will lose a boyfriend over a job loss.

I hear that. Probably like anything else, just a habit I get into or out of. Also if something good happens it can make me more social. If I'm in a rut I don't feel like being out. Maybe I shouldn't let those circumstances dictate my social life so much.

I have tried recently to to open women with a simple 'hey'. I prefer that, it dose'nt come off as desperate/needy as a typical Neil Strauss/Mystery opener. However i've found it to be unsucessful compared to PUA openers.
The typical PUA opener grabs her attention more, stops her in her tracks more.
The smile and 'hey' that a lot of guys reconmennd just dose'nt work, she just gets awkward and continues on her way.

It would depend on where we were sat i.e if my friends were bringing a woman to me then sat there as a spectator, it would'nt suit me. I like to get personal with a women. I would'nt feel comfortable with a guy sitting there watching.

Never.

The men that I know in real life are generally married men who haven't been approaching in 10+ years.

Some of those men had to use dating websites/dating apps in order to get into their current relationship. Others got into it from social circle. There are some men in my circle who did get into their current relationship off of a bar approach.

Any guys you that was successful off a non bar cold approach

I have been the biggest practitioner of non-bar cold approach among all the people that I know. I have been the one who has been most successful with it.

I don't know anyone in real life in a current relationship that was formed from a non-bar cold approach.

I know 2 guys with triple digit notch counts and neither has been a non-bar cold approacher.

The first one (now married) was always a bar cold approach who only slightly dabbled in dating websites/apps. He got into an exclusive relationship in the mid-2010s. He did well in bougie bars as a 6'4" White male who was a former NCAA athlete in a country club sport.

The second one is in his late 50s and has been exclusively a dating website/dating app seducer since the 2000s.

The majority of my blue pill ideology friends/acquaintances got into their relationships either from social circle, bar approaches, or websites/apps.
