"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

I've started to like my friend.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

I have been friends with a girl for four-and-a-half years, I always saw her as being pretty, but was never sexually attracted to her, but in recent months, I have started to become more and more sexually attracted to her. I doubt she is interested in me, but what should I do? Usually I'd go NC with someone like this, but she is a good friend and someone I want in my life. Any advice...???
make a move next time you and her are alone...give her a hug, then look into her eyes and kiss her on the lips...if she turns away or doesn't like it, you've got your answer...

and for God's sake DO NOT tell her about your feelings for her...show her.

as an aside, do you have any reason to belive she has any feelings for you as more than a friend?

Ugh, you like a friend? My condolences.

LoL - seriously, though: in my AFC days I actually had a few girls who were friends that I was thisclose to screwing... but then I ruined it by either verbally expressing how I felt or having the opportunity to make the move but not taking it at the right time.

Here's a trick I did one time, only it wasn't a trick but what was actually happening. During my sophomore year in college I was on a dating roll one week where I had gone out with 3 girls in 4 days. I was visiting my one of my girl friends in her dorm room, and mentioned to her that I had gone on this successful string of dates and was just having fun going out with new people that I hadn't even considered before.

Then, I looked at her and said, in a very nonchalant way: "Hey, you know what? We should go out on a date, it would probably be kind of fun!"

She paused for about 5 seconds, then said... "yeah, sure, we should do something sometime!" I ended up taking her out the next week, and sure enough it was fun! (A couple years later we almost ended up hooking up as well, right before I c-blocked myself... but that's a whole 'nother story.)

It really is as simple as asking sometime. Remember: girls LIKE feeling desired AND like having fun. You don't have to go into some big speech about how you like her and think you two might have a future together - just make it a thing where you're curious about what MIGHT happen on a date with you and her, and see if she's down for some fun!

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
