A little early to post, but I know I got it today. No masturbation for eight ****ing days. I pulled a all nighter last night for my finals today (and browsed various forums during my breaks) and got like two hours of sleep. Despite that, I feel like I have maga****tons of energy. Quiting masturbation has made me realise something. I have a one track mind. When I study, I don't think about anything but the subject. But when I have any spare second of time, I think about sex. Once finals are over today, I'm going to start hitting the gym and pumping some iron. Up until now, I've only been doing cardio (running a few miles ever other day)...but now I want muscle. Time to start cutting! Also started to work on getting a tan this week. After two 40 minute sessions, I'm getting a little darker. Should take me at most two weeks to get myself a decent tan (I tan easily).

Just to clarify things, I believe that masturbation has absolutly NO effect on testosterone or "energy" levels. Anyone who says contrary is speaking out of their own ass since little to no research has been done on this.

5/21. Last night was difficult, but here I am, still fighting. Contrary to what Eulogy said, I do feel different. I find myself not getting flustered in potentially awkward situations, I'm feeling more confident, and I do feel more energetic. Of course, it could all be psycho-sematic, as I've previously said. 13/21...Speaking of those "vivid" dreams most of us have been having since we started this, I dreamt last week about a girl from my hometown that she and I hooked up. This dream seemed VERY real and made me want to act it out in real life. Then out of the blue she calls me a few days ago and says she's gonna be in town this weekend. I've noticed a lot of people have had difficulty completing the 6 month task, so I wanted a plan that broke this task down into smaller intervals. Here's how it works. The experts say that it takes 21 days to break a habit...so we're gonna go for 21 days then after the first 21 day period, you have a choice to opt for a second 21 day period, then after that the third and so on. After each option you'll start back to Day 1 and label it 2nd option, 3rd option, whatever option it is and go all the way to 21 again. The options must be consecutive or you have to start over at period one. Feel free to log your experience in this thread and also extend support to others (not judgement, guilt, or pessimism). During this period of no masturbation you may have sex as often as you like . It is not recommended that you watch porn as it may hurt your mission but it is not prohibited.

Here's what your progression should look like:

I'm positive you can get to 21 too (refer to posts #43-45 for inspiration)...and release does feel superb, and from now on we'll be getting that release from sex with women, not masturbation. Here's a quote from a fellow dj:

14/21...Day Fourteen, I can honestly say now that I feel "normal" again. I feel passionate, horny, and just more lively. I feel like my old self (pre-college graduation) except wiser. I can feel my natural desires again and that they aren't squandered or diminished. I also can't remember a time I've given less of a f*ck and it feels really good (testosterone). I've set aside Saturdays as a total day of approaching and I can't wait.
