I think these are the signs, or maybe I am reading too much into it. He is not married and does not have any children:
re are some signs:
1. He was helping the students one by one. It wasn't until he got to me that he started stuttering and fumbling over his words. However with the other students his speech was confident and fluent.
2. After class when I talked to my friend, the professor cut into the conversation to join us, despite many other people in the class talking.
3. He stares into my eyes a lot. I kept a tally from how many times he would stare at me for at least 4 seconds. The results were shocking; 93 times in a 2 hour period.
3. When I asked him a question when we were alone, he stood very close to me. And when I moved closer, nearly touching, he did not move away. He was awkward and stumbled over his words and we tried to look at each other in that close proximity.
4. I was in class talking to my friend, he tuned in immediately again and added to the conversation while he never did this to others.

Thank you for reading :)
By the way I am NOT a troll. No rude comments please. I came here to seek ADVISE and NOT rude assumptions.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Would you consider yourself good looking? If so, there is a greater chance of attraction.

Ok, are you interested? Give him a hint then. Or are you just seeking validation that you are pretty and an ego boost among your friends?

Thank you so much of giving me replies other than ASSumptions that I'm a troll. Yes I do like him. We are both pilots and in flight school, and to avoid the breach of an academic misconduct I am looking to date him after the course ends. By the way, I am new with flirting. Any tips on how to flirt with a guy without being too overt/strong? Is 93 times a lot of eye contact in a two hour period where I sat in the far corner? I asked the girls in the class and they complained that he never looked them in the eye once.

Yep, he digs you. It seems obvious, clear signals. If you are interested, try to spend more 1 on 1 time with him, ask him out. Good luck.

Should I ask him to come fly with me? He's got like 9000 hours in his logbook while I've only got 60 lol .

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Guys, you don't look at unattractive whales for more than 90 times, right?

Sometimes we do. It's like when you see a roadkill and for some strange reason can't take your eyes away from it. Call it morbid fascination.

Oh I see you are a woman. I thought you were a guy and your professor had same sex tendencies towards you. Teachers falling for pupils is common especially in adult settings. But he'll largely keep his feeling (if that is the case) private because its not right. You should not push boundaries either. Come a few months you would have moved on and won't be having classes with professor. Find a guy who is not a teacher to keep you company.

But don't you think this is an inappropriate place to ask such advice? This forum is largely for guys who have problems meeting women, luckily you don't have that problem.

That is a totally out of order way of describing people.

Lol, no. I am a woman, and I wanted some advice from men. I want to ask, though, how do I flirt with him and initiate contact after class ends? It is ending pretty soon.

Ask him out.

Hoooooooooooooooooooooooly fvckin sh!t a woman asking for advice!!!!!!!!!!!

The advice that most men are given on this website is basically to ask a woman out in order to get a definite answer and the same will apply to you.

He might be attracted to you but you won't truly know unless you ask him out or unless he asks you out after the course ends. From the sounds of it he might like you a little bit but doesn't want to get in trouble for misconduct. Technically we don't know unless you ask him out point-blank.

Also did you check for a wedding ring!!!? or has he brought up his GF in a conversation!?!?! :flowers:

The best way you can flirt with him is to blow his head up. Compliment him on some accessory or the clothes he is wearing or how a color suits him. Laugh at all of his jokes and try to touch him a little bit here and there just to let him know you feel comfortable around him. Don't email him or add him on your facebook. Keep it strictly face to face.
