I know the rule of thumb when it comes to long distance relationships, especially the view of those DJs on this board from whom i've learned a lot.

I met this girl online on one of those social sites. She sounds very much in to me, at least from her intial responses. Very high class, HB8, does counseling and psychotherapy sh!t.

I am a sucesfull guy myself, run my own business and have recources to pursue my goals including relationships.

Question is have any of you pusued sucessful relationship from a distace? i am talking about countries not states.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

I'm in one, but only because it's temporary and 4 hours apart. If you live in the US and she lives in another country than **** no unless you live in Seattle while she lives in Vancouver or something.

She's in a different country? What's the point in putting forth effort with this woman if there's little to no chance for sex? Since you've already wasted time with her, escalate things immediately and see if she'll visit for a bang. If she can't, forget about her. If she can, bang her... then forget about her.

Well one of my plates was in a LDR ...I ****ed her & then her "boyfriend provided the emotional support for her.
One of the things I will NEVER consider , expecially in this generation.

Hilarious Yorkex! I am traveling to Dallas sometime next month for the first date. Looking forward to it. Staying for the weekend at her place, I am sure there will be a chance for a good bang, but what follows after that is up for debate. I have been on LDR with BPD EX and I don't need to say much how that turned out.

I am just curious if it's even worth the trip. But mind you I've never been to Dallas before so maybe worth a visit :)
