"The Kiss of Death Mistake"

You replay the conversation at 2 a.m. She texted back fast yesterday. Today, nothing. Was that smile friendly or flirty? What did the shoulder touch mean?

Every hour you spend decoding her signals drains your confidence and hands her the controls. Women can sense that insecurity from across the room — and it repels them.

One of the "22 Rules" kills the obsession on the spot: assume she likes you, and act accordingly. Sounds too simple. Works anyway.

Her interest tends to rise to meet your expectations. Psychologists call it a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Ok lets really look at this?

Have you actually read those books? Yes: leave them out. Going to: hide them until you do.

WHY? Because if she has read them and asks you about them what than brainiac? YEA.. Something to think about.. Other than that quit worrying about what they think. Make them feel and they will forget all that thinking business.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

They are mostly political books with a few biographies of political leaders sprinkled in. The only non-political ones are two Ayn Rand novels and a book about law school.

Thanks for the input everyone. It was informative and helped direct me to a rational decision.

All in all if youre intelligent then why hide it from a girl, it will come out eventually... If the lady in question feels threatened to some extent by the level of your intellect (however that may be defined) then you have to ask is she right for you...
Personally I never dumb down for a girl and if she cant keep up the pace I move on...

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Apparently, he wasn't reading too carefully...tsk tsk :) (honestly though, if you read the book, you should've at least gotten one thing out of it!)
