"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

My mom won't stop *****ing, because my grades are really bad, and i'm not becoming a DJ because i'm too lazy to read the material. I am seriously a loser all i do is watch TV, and go on the computer. I need help changing. My life has been so depressing, because i'm lazy and i feel so pathetic, because my mom gave up on me and disowned me. I dont care though cause she's the biggest ***** in the world, but i want to change my ways for myself. My mom disowning me just opened my eyes. I REALLY NEED HELP!

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

No one will give you an advice you already know. Only you know what you need to do and only you can do it. Instead of being helpless start doing something about it! maybe its a good thing your mom is being a b1tch because it makes you angry and being angry is a damn good motivator to change for the better.

Rint,

You need self-esteem. You need motivation. You can get those by exercising. Want to fix your life? Stop feeling so damn bad about yourself and FIX things. Reading the DJ Bible will not take that long, so just get it done. The one thing you need to realize is that you may not want to do it, but if you start on it you will slowly begin to have the urge to -finish- it.

This is how life goes, so start on one thing, then when you finish it start on the next solution. Once you finish the DJ bible, try getting out of the house more often. To bring your grades up, go read your textbooks outside everyday. Getting some sun helps you in many ways. Turn off your computer until X pm everyday, put restrictions on the things in your life that distract you from living -life-.

Once you get your mind on the right track, everything will fall into place and you will be a better person.

Keep your head up, build up your confidence, cut out the wasteful things in your life (tv & computer), and start living life my man! Remember you only live once (or so I have been told =D )!

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

Do not just weight train. Run your ass off, do alot of cardio. Your brain releases certain endorphins when you do aerobic exercises which raises your mood. And we can't tell you how to make good grades, only you can do that.

Enjoy life, and don't hold back from anything. Think of what you might be missing out on by spending too much time watching tv or on the computer. That should be a good motivator.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

You get bad grades? You're lazy?
Don't worry... I foresee a future for you...

Schoolbus driver!

Hey man, if you're such a lazy bastard, do something about it. Change your freaking day rhythm, throw that TV out the window and instead, whenever you have time available, work on school.

So eazy.

The third post nails it, YOU NEED TO DO IT YOURSELF. Nobody else can do it for you! No matter how much advice you get, the whole point of feeling accomplished is that you actually have to work for it!

Maybe you should go downtown and talk to some bums on the street, consider how much their life sucks, and see what kind of a work ethic they have.

At least you admit you're lazy instead of trying to blame everyone else. Anyway, the motivation post in my signature should help a lot.

I changed my life 7 years ago and never ever looked back.

I was in bed on Christmas Eve 2000 and was totally sad probably like you are right now. Anyway - I made my mind up right there right then to actually work to change my life.

I actually decided to move things on - I decided to "get going" with things.

You can think about things the way you are - hopeless and non-improving, but without real thought and some energy you aren't going to get anywhere.

You sound like you have your looks sorted, so just work on your personality. Just think about being kind and courteous to your female comerades. Treat them as equals not as inferiors (or superiors) and they should like you for it in return.

Just a few thoughts - if you want to hear my whole story just PM me Ill be happy to help

Best. Advice. Evar.

I've noticed that if I go for a 5 minute run (note run, not walk or light jog) about once a week or so I'm much more energetic for the rest of that week. The week I "stop" (mainly out of laziness) I am a slug and don't want to do anything but sit at the computer. Just get out there and exercise, you have no idea how much it helps your mood and body's health. Trust me. Just once a week.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.
