Was driving with some friends tonight, and well I didnt notice that my car lights were'nt on... but to top that they were yelling directions at my and the light turned red and well I ran the red. The cops lights came on and I knew I was ****ed. She came over ask for license, proof and insurance and my car registration. She walked back to the car and in a couple minutes came back stating "make sure you keep those lights on or you'll be see'ing us alot".

I know this is kinda pointless but my hearts still beating... just got my full so if I got the ticket for running that red I would have been a dead man when I got home!

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

If you never had a ticket or trouble with the law, you will get couple of free passes, im puirty sure they just write it up as a warning. After couple of those, that's when they start cracking down on you.

same thing happened to me, i got let off with 3 times, the forth time i got slaped with a $350 ticket and 4 points (i fought it though, $1200 later i had $60 ticket and no points)

Now that i think about it, your in US, so it might be different.

I was having a really good day the other day, everything going well, finished the day in school and headed for my car. Turned on the music real loud, put on the sunglasses and drove away! As I started driving I noticed like a minute later that my seatbelt wasn't on! nowonder some girl that passed by looked at me funny. Sometimes we got so much stuff going on in our heads whether they be the good things happening to us or the bad stuff, that we lose focus when driving. That could have cost me a lot of dough if some cop had spotted me.

The first thing I always do after I open the car door is get in and put my seat belt on before I even turn on the car so I don't forget. That day I had so many thoughts in my head I lost my concentration. The moment we get in our cars is the moment we have to let some of our thoughts and emotions go and concentrate on driving safely. I learned my lesson.

You get pretty hefty fines, and might loose your license if there are several people in the car without a seatbelt around here.
