Here's a bit of advice frome someone who has extensive online experience, especially with hot or not. I often meet up with 1-2 new girls from Hot or Not each week.

It's one of those things where if you talk too much before you meet, then you not only run out of things to talk about without repeating conversations, but you also run the risk of the gal getting this image of you in her mind that you have to live up to, otherwise the wind will be taken out of her sails. I think there's obviously a good way to get around this, but it will involve making sure that you are no different in person than you are on the net and you have new stuff to talk about.
