"I just moved here from Florida."

That sentence contains at least five follow-up questions she WANTS you to ask. Where in Florida? What brought you here? How long have you been in the area? What do you miss? How does it compare to here?

She handed them to you on a silver platter. And you said, "Oh cool. I come here every week. I love this band. Ummm... pretty crowded tonight."

She smiled politely. Nodded. And never texted you back.

I was that guy for years. Talking too much. Listening too little. Panicking about my next sentence while she was literally feeding me the answers.

Then I found 22 rules that fixed the whole thing. Rule number one: shut up and listen. She'll tell you exactly what to say.

Ok kinda baffled what to do here... what do you do if you receive an email from a girl's LDR bf that basically says I know you spend a lot of time with her, ...subtle hints to backoff, yet glad youre treating her right, then looking forward to eventually meeting you as a friend....and kinda expecting a response back? do i respond to this or just let it hang...

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

That happened to me once.

Turns out the dude was just checking me out to see what my intentions were. He found out. But not until after she dumped his ass for being an insecure, possessive prick.

Hmm, wonder how he got your email addy?

sounds like hes doing the "keep your enemies closer" thing

anyways, better off him having a neutral-positive view towards you than flat out hostile. may prevent chick from hanging out with you.

“The 22 Rules That Flip the Script With Women… And How You Can Use Them Tonight”

Most guys accidentally kill attraction before they even speak. They assume they need a bigger bank account, a better physique, or smoother lines. They miss the point.

Female desire operates on a specific set of psychological triggers.  Break them, and you're invisible. Follow them, and you become magnetic.

I learned this the hard way. Years of freezing up. Getting friend-zoned. Watching other guys walk away with the girl I wanted. Then I discovered a set of 22 simple rules that rewired my entire approach.

Translation: " I know you been spending alot of time with my girl as a "friend". I know what your intentions are (you got a d1ck after all). I want to see for myself whether or not your a threat but I suspect you are just an emotional tampon wuss that could never get into my girl's pants".

I would ignore the e-mail. You have a bizzare relationship with this girl and the dude knows you want her. I suspect you are already like "one of her girlfriends" by now but deep down you wish you were more.

Don't be friends with girls you want to fvck. You fvck them first and then be friends with them.

Yup. Gotta press the iggy button on this guy. Only makes him more infuriated that not only is his girl acting suspicious, but now YOU'RE not playing the superficial buddy/buddy game with him. Enter insecurity. Exit boyfriend.

Basically he's trying to force an "alpha male" role by lining you up as well as letting you know who is the man in charge. If you ignore home or don't say jack crap to him, he will be frustrated and if he's the insecure type it'll work into him. If you wanna play this game a little further, you could mention it to this girl that you got a message from him but you can't tell her what he said.

Make this into an evil game, I know I would.

"The Coffee Shop Girl You Never Spoke To"

You've replayed it a hundred times. She stood three feet away, scrolling her phone. You had an opening. You composed the perfect line — after she was gone.

For all you know, she's married now. To some guy who said something. Anything.

Openers are cheap. Almost any sentence works when it's delivered within three seconds. The expensive part is the standing there, drafting and deleting, while the window quietly closes.

The "22 Rules" stripped out my hesitation. What to open with, how to keep it alive, and the one habit that costs guys more women than anything else: waiting for perfect.

I dont get why you guys are all dissing on this guy.

Of course it all depends on the "tone" of what he wrote you you, but as far as I can tell what he did was senseful and in no way underhanded or cowardly. You should treat this guy with the same respect you would expect for yourself.

You need to give this guy a little respect and drop the "better than him" attitude.

She's HIS girlfriend and he's trying to piece together what's going on. You're moving in on his territory, not the other way around.

If you need to attack the boyfriend in order to gain some ground on this woman, give up now because you're really not much.

I see very little basic decency in this thread. I would expect a better attitude towards these sorts of issues from people who claim to always be improving themselves.

"She Made Her Decision Before You Finished Your Sentence"

Three seconds. That's how long it took. Your shoes. Your posture. The way you held your drink. Whether you looked at the floor or looked at her.

She already filed you away. Interesting. Boring. Safe. Bold. Before you even opened your mouth.

Everything you say after that is just her confirming what she already decided.

So stop rehearsing lines. Fix the first three seconds. Stand tall. Look up. Smile like you mean it. Walk like you belong wherever you're standing.

The words come later. The impression comes first.
