"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.

do you tell her?

"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I was raised that it was gauche to discuss how much you make or how much money you have. So I never discuss my financial particulars with anyone, I'm not going to do it just because of a pretty face.

In contrast, a friend of mine recently got a higher paying position, and he was going around telling every one who would listen what his new salary was. He was bragging, and it's distasteful (and he still doesn't make as much as I do, in case you think it's jealousy).

Not only is it a red flag, it's a 4 foot wide red laser beam pointed to the moon. Guess what's on her mind: Cha-ching! Bad sign, brother.

5string is right on the money.

The question has much more implications. Most guys would fall head over heels for an opportunity to impress her.

"How I Made Sure No Woman Ever Friend-Zoned Me Again"

She calls you when her car breaks down. When she needs help moving. When some guy she's actually dating treats her badly.

You're the listener. The reliable one. The guy who would treat her so much better, if she'd just open her eyes.

She won't. You trained her to see you as the low-effort option — the friend who requires zero risk and zero investment. Every favor dug the hole deeper.

The "22 Rules" break the pattern. You'll stop auditioning for a role she already cast and become the man she chases instead. It starts with Rule 1.

In more than 20 years of dating I've never had a woman ask me how much money I made. A couple of times as a self-employed white-collar professional I've had women ask what my hourly billing rate was (I said "It depends") but that's only happened once or twice and that was because we were specifically discussing something about my work, and I'd already known them for months or years.

I only tell women what I'm going to charge them to put shoes on their horses. They can guess whatever they want after that.

No matter how much you make she will wish it was more. I had one girl find an offer letter I got for $145k salary plus benefits and she was disappointed that was all I made. She said "Some guys make $650k". I said who, gangsters?

Her: How much do you make?
You: How much do you weigh?

Yep then divide by 3 what you say, multiply by 5 what she says and you get the accurate answer.

Or was it for the number of sexual partners?

"Enough."

No reason to be any more precise than that. If she is actually interested in you, she can come with her own assumptions of how financially stable you are based on your spending throughout the relationship, your car, your home, etc.

If that's one of the first questions asked, she's after you for one thing, drop her.

Never had a girl ask me that. It's rude and anyone that would ask that instantly loses credibility in my eyes.

"You Can't Argue a Woman Into Liking You"

You made your case like a lawyer. Stable job. Good guy. Ready for something real. All true. All irrelevant.

She weighed your points, nodded along, felt nothing — then fell hard for some tattooed bartender with a motorcycle and a gambling problem.

Logic is where attraction goes to die. The "22 Rules" work a level deeper, on the subconscious switches that decide within minutes whether you register as a MAN or as part of the furniture.

Stop presenting evidence. Start flipping switches.

Like a time when a girl asked me "so how big are you?" Response: "Big enough, so how tight are you?"
