"So, What Do You Do for Fun?"

She asks it casually, mid-sip. And you feel the floor open up, because the honest answer is work, gym, and a couple shows you're half-watching.

Women rarely say this out loud, but a man with a life is attractive before he says a word. The guy who spent Saturday deep-sea fishing and came back with photos and a story — he walks in already interesting.

The "22 Rules" pushed me to build a life worth talking about. Turns out the fastest way to be interesting to women is to be interested in your own life first.

I seduced the girl I was obsessed with

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

Why would I be sarcastic about something like that?

Girl I had a crush on in high school. Too chicken 5hit to ask her out. 7 years later I was exploring her insides.

Girl who dumped my ass and drove me to this site 13 years ago. She was heavily pursuing me last year.

That means you were not obsessed about them anymore since so many years had passed, and my point still stands. You were not able to get with them WHILE you were obsessed.

If you are obsessed about 1 particular girl, then you aren't 100% happy with yourself and your life, and the girl will be able to sense this, which is why she won't have sex with you.

r0cky when I saw the title of your post I was thinking in my head, "no way!" so I had to open it up and see this story. I've certainly never known anyone to "get" the object of their obsession.

Then your punchline hit me and I actually laughed out loud. SO TRUE! Any time I've become obsessed with a girl (only happened 2 times in my life), I've failed miserably as continuing a relationship with her.

Lol.

I once got obsessed with a girl and got no where. Cut her off pursued other women and year later she got back to me. I didn't give a sh!t this time and guess what. Yep I got her.

Then as the relationship developed, I turned AFC and she broke up with me. That hurt but I bounced back and got my **** together and pursued other women and stop giving sh1t about her. She then wanted me again. Banged her and tossed her to the curb. She got p!ssed and got into a relationship with another guy. That for some reason hurt me and I turned AFC again.

That experience led me to the journey of true inner game development, the path I am currently walking.

This girl showed me how obsession NEVER get's the girl.. but also how you can weirdly bounce from AFC to ALPHA to AFC to ALPHA even with the same girl. You can go from obsession to indifference to obsession to indifference with the same girl.

It's all inner game.. until you get it rock solid, you are prone to bounce from state to state depending on external influences. You can become a sort of faux alpha. To become the real deal takes incredible inner work and the number of girls you've notched isn't actually an indication of this.

"Nervous Around Beautiful Women? There's a Rule for That"

I could talk to any woman I wasn't attracted to. Charming, funny, relaxed. Then a gorgeous woman looked my way and I'd become a sweating, babbling mess.

The fix took me years to find and ten minutes to learn. Nervousness and excitement are the same physical state — pounding heart, adrenaline, flushed face. Your brain just picks the label. And you can pick a better one.

Rule 16 shows you how. You feel the nerves, relabel them as excitement, and let that energy pour out as enthusiasm. Women notice the guy radiating it. They always do.

But after pumping the subject multiple times, then you'll realize it was stupid to think she was the one, she was the hottest girl in the world etc.

And then you start thinking the grass is greener on the other side, I can do better.

Time to stop the mental masturbation.
 now dont bust in three seconds lol. you mean you seduced a woman you like or were you truly obsessed. funny thing about english language sometimes a little change in wording change the meaning. because if you truly obsessed you would show obsessed and needy behavior which made you unattractive so im assuming you just like her and got her good for you.

Londontowers thanks for sharing your story, I don't know why it's not in the alive and tips forum.

"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

Des is right. I was obsessed with a chick I worked with and 20 years later, we're in a relationship.
But no, I tried hard in my AFC beta say to get her way back then and failed miserably. But thankyou So Suave for helping me find my ballz.

Lies. About 7-8 years ago I did just this. She rejected me, I was kinda depressed for a month, but I cut all contact and started dating another girl. This was before I knew anything about game. We ran into each other at a party a few months later (I was still dating girl 2 but not BF/GF) and we ended up hooking up a few days later - and then dating for a year.

A few months into our relationship she said "I was thinking about you all the time when I didn't see you around" and "When you got a new girlfriend I was thinking 'uh oh new girl is taking my guy'".

Key is to just not care anymore about getting with her - keep busy and get with other girls. If you end up hooking up in the future, that's great. If not, oh well.

Nah. I did it. I was tired of being obsessed so I figured I had to take a crack at it. Turned out she was even more into me than I was into her. Worked out pretty good.

I didn't bother with that whole "go talk to other girls" stuff. I just asked if she wanted to grab a drink.

"She Liked You in March. It's October Now."

Attraction runs on a clock.

She flirted for weeks. Touched your arm. Found reasons to be alone with you. And you were careful. Respectful. Waiting for the right moment.

The moment had a shelf life. It expired around month two, and by the time you asked her out, she'd quietly filed you under "little brother."

One of the hardest lessons inside the 22 Rules: women rarely wait. Interest either grows or it decays, and nothing decays it faster than a man who never moves.

Make the move while she's still inventing reasons to be near you.
