the problem with hotornot is that the results seem to be grossly overrated... ive seen plenty of ugly chicks with high ratings. I speculate the ratings for most ugly/fat/plain people are highly overrated, such ppl including myself.


also, your scale is flawed; 5 is Plain. Anything above 5 denotes some level of overall attractiveness.

Hot or Not is useless, the girls are rating the guys more on the personality that they are portraying in the photos, not on their actual physical appearance.
The same guy can put on a photo of himself dressed in more conservative or bleak types of clothing and be scored a 4, then put on another photo that shows his muscles without a shirt on and be scored an 8.
The girls are rating the personality portrayed rather than his actual looks.

Hotornot is the worst measure of looks. People don't always rate solely on good looks, guys will rate other guys 1s just for the hell of it, tons of people just keep hitting one score over and over to browse thru the pictures....etc etc. It's bs.

Hey, you know that PM I sent you asking how to be "sexy"? Well I think I get it now. I was at the bookstore this morning looking at some magazines, and Scarlett Johannson is on the cover of some magazine as "sexiest woman alive." I look at her, then at some other fine chick on another cover, like FHM or something. And you know, Scarlett doesn't have the best body, she's a little "thick" but the way she poses just oozes with sexuality. Even though the other chick has a nicer body, more toned, Scarlett turns me on more, because her stance just plain screams SEX!

So, I get it now...sexy isn't flexing or being big and toned, it's the way you carry yourself...and being confident enough to have a bold sense of style, like you do.

And you know, from your pictures, I think I'm similar to you in that I'm a pretty thin guy. What I think attracts girls is my face/jaw, eyes, and sense of style (though my style needs work). You're not big and muscular, yet you say girls think you're sexy. You do have very "manly" facial features though...and the way you stand is just "sexy." I totally get your drift now...

I won't post my pictures because I don't want people knowing I visit this forum (as I've posted about my self-esteem/confidence issues a lot). I don't really care for ratings since hot girls come onto on me daily, I have all the proof I need. Besides, this guy is right...we all have the right to believe we're super good-looking...in fact, my low self-esteem as I've realized is my biggest obstacle.
