"She Laughed All Night. Then She Ghosted You. Here's Why."

Dinner ran three hours. She laughed at everything. You walked her to her car thinking this one's locked in.

Then: nothing. Two texts. No reply. What happened?

You did what most men do on a great date. You filled every silence, answered every question, and left her with nothing to wonder about. No mystery. Nothing to sit with when she got home.

Rule 3 of the "22 Rules" changes the ending: tell her a little, hold back the rest, and let her imagination do the chasing. The ghosting stops too.

I was involved with a woman four months ago that I shouldn't have been involved with. She has not contacted me, but everyday, at least two to three times a day for over four months, she checks my social networking site. Any idea what I should put on there? Till this day, I have been messing around and cracking jokes or putting my picture up with other girls, but still my profile says single (I have never directly addressed her). Any ideas on what to put on there that could blow her mind? My feelings were a little hurt on this one and I liked the girl alot, though I should have never been with her. I know for SURE that it's her. 100 percent. So why is she still checking? What should I put on there? Any advice? I find it weird and odd.

"She Wants a Man, Not a Boy"

You asked her if she wanted to grab coffee. Then you asked if the time worked. Then you asked if the place was okay. Then you asked if she'd prefer tea.

Four questions. Four chances for her to say no. Four signals that you're terrified of making a decision.

Plan it. Pick the place. Pick the time. Tell her where to meet you. She'll either show up or she won't.

Either way, you look like a man instead of a scared little boy.

Trent, just be the fun loving carefree sexy guy you know you are (i assume lol). If she makes contact, appear cool & semi-disinterested. It's like trolling... wait for a bite on your rod before yanking. bide your time, meanwhile spin plates & let her see you have social proof-value by being surrounded by HB's. Patience my friend.

Oh... and if you want to try to induce her to "bite", addude to having a bit of a crush on a secret past romantic interest. She will be studying every word. In other words... like chumming the waters as you troll! LOL

Hey Joe,

She hasn't bit in four months. I wonder if it's over. I mean, she is gone and just checks and checks. What the hell is she looking for? I will do as you say. Let's see what happens.

"Stop Asking Your Friends What to Text Her"

Your buddy Dave has been single for three years and thinks "hey u up" is a valid strategy. Your other buddy Mike just got dumped and told you to "just be yourself."

You showed them her text. You asked them to decode the emoji. You drafted four responses and sent the screenshot to the group chat for a vote.

She's been waiting forty minutes.

Put the phone down. Stop crowdsourcing your love life. Type something that sounds like you. Hit send. Then go do literally anything else with your evening.

the problem here is you have strong feelings towards her, negative or otherwise. the important thing to point out is you'll be a better man when you just plain get over them; stop caring about whether she checks your site or not. stop checking your site's daily visitors, if that helps.

This is why the internet has potential to make AFC's of us all.

Knowledge is NOT power in this case. The more you monitor this situation, the worse off you will be. You gain nothing by knowing that she is checking your site if she isn't willing to be involved with you in the real world.

"I'm Not Looking for Anything Serious Right Now"

When a woman says it, guys hear a confession. A heads-up. A scheduling conflict.

Here's the translation: I don't feel anything. Right now. With you.

Watch what happens when a man triggers actual attraction. The busy career, the recent breakup, the "not in a place to date" — all of it evaporates instantly. The same woman who was guarding her freedom is suddenly free every night.

The "22 Rules" explain why. When the right switches flip, her timeline rearranges itself around you.

blow her mind? You wonder if it's over?

how about trying to get over Your hurt? Look, if you were indifferent to her, you could care less if she was checking in. The truth is that you are checking in as often as she is.

It appears from your other threads that you've had kind of a bad beakup and still wish that maybe things were different. What will help the most is Eliminating contact with her, not increasing it, and trying to "blow her mind". In trying to do that, you will probably only succeed in blowing your own mind, and not in a good way.

So how should I act next time I see her out somewhere? Would you not even look at her and see if she approaches? How would you handle it?
